If that is done right, it's actually pretty cool in my book !...

 well id still say thats pretty lame especially since with the money spent he could have a much better car :dopey:

and even if that is a real engine :odd: having it exposed like that cant be good for electrics or the motor in general!

According to that Philosophy, everyone in the whole world would drive the exact same car.

It is definitely a real motor, nobody puts in a fake one, that's just dumb. There is a cover for it, you can clearly see the mounting holes on the body.

Some people just refuse to give credit to where it is deserved.

The Bugatti Veyron has an exposed engine. Formula One cars from the 60s had exposed engines (and other decades as well). I believe top fuel dragsters also have exposed engines.

Ok, so im wrong about things from time to time, but consider this:

1. the Bugatti Veyron has not got a completely exposed engine (wires and all).
2. Formula cars from the 60's werent built for everyday use in horrible weather(probably replaced engines often as in formula 1 nowadays).
3. Same as above apart from top fuel dragsters are mostly used in dry weather.

You and i both know this is the Questionable modifacations thread. Fake engines have probably been done by some dumbass before now. All im saying is it could quite possibly just be a fake engine, but who knows? If however it is real ask yourself this: Would you want an ugly mid engined Pug convertable?

Not nescessarily since everone has their own tastes, with say 20k what would you buy? It all depends on your needs as a person, i would probably go for a 2nd hand M3 at that price, though a family man might opt for a People carrier. But anyway what im trying to say is its not a bad idea but its still a 206cc, i dont happen to like the 206cc anyway, this doesnt change that.

That's not an engine, those are amps! It's an audio setup made to look like a V8, and it's pretty obvious.

The poker table on the back of the blue car ain't a Pug, straight up Volksvagen Golf.

the completely blue is a Clio; the yellow and purplish is a Seat Ibiza.

I'm surprised no one noticed it before...

Oh. My. ****ing. God.
So, why is that wing there?
To make some downforce or just to make the car even uglier than what it is.

Well he sees his 20k is best spent on the Peugeot. He could say that you could've got a way better car than an M3. You could've gotten a 206CC ;)

Once again, Spanish tuning deserves a 👎

Actually, I rather like that one. Wheels aren't too large, no sitckers, no 50" coffee can exhaust, and the spoiler(s) aren't too large. It's not rice in my opinion.

Well, I wouldn't go so far as to say it's not rice, but it is very nicely done and attractive.

alright, but my rant is the double tailpipes on a 4 cylinder engine in line... the conversion costs are forbidding (I had 6-cyl Mustang and wanted to do it), and it's nothing more than cosmetic. Plus, I'm almost sure only one of them is functional.

 yea i spose thats true but then we'd be able to see just how much of a moron he is! no matter what you do to a 206cc with 20k is there any way to make it handle as well, look as good and go as fast as an m3? nah didnt think so :P anyway i beleive you owe me an apology since it wasnt a real motor! :)

Edit: HAHAHAA  just went on a nice walk to get my car back from the garage and what do i see? a red cavalier estate with a ferrari badge on the front! was moving so i didnt have time to get a pic! but i saw the yellow dot on the bonnet from a way back and just thought 'Oh My God!', i guess you could call it a feravilier or a cavarri

I've seen stuff like that plenty of times, but it never loses its humor. My mom had no idea why I was laughing so hard when I saw a Pontiac Grand Am with a Nissan GT-R badge on it... the guy drove like an idiot too.

Yall got nothing. I saw an old Hyundai Accent with GTR badges.

Sorry 'bout the motor. But you sir have learn to respect other people's tastes. He certainly thinks his Peugeot is better than your M3 (that I must remind, you don't even have). After all, that's why he owns a 206CC and not a BMW.

It's completely, patently, and totally, NOT a real engine. The two "velocity stacks" go directly into a nice flat sheet of polished aluminum without the intervention of any kind of throttle bodies or intake manifold. There should be one TB under each stack, and one stack for each cylinder, for that matter. It's most assuredly not real. There is also no provision for exhaust, fuel, spark, accessories, etc. that are usually required to make an engine run.

In fact, while it is not an engine, it IS the amplifiers from his sound system arranged to look vaguely like an OHC V engine. This idea you can judge on its own merits.

[edit] D'oh! Just saw PR's post. Go ahead, PR, you can make fun of me.

Did this guy paint the carbon fiber hood and then change his mind half-way through?

Used to be a del Sol

It could be less lame if not for the cotton... wtf?

WHY??

This woman noticed the car looks hideous and decided to peel out the white sticker...

Is that a subwoofer?

This can't be safe

I just saw a motor-looking thing in the back. My fault for not inspecting it more than a glance.

And that "Did this guy paint the carbon fiber hood and then change his mind half-way through?" car seems to be that the weave of the fibres seems to reflect the light differently than the flatter part of the hood. But I could be wrong (again).

@Diego440: That hood isn't painted. If it's a sunny day out, and you look at a CF hood just right, it looks plain black. Since there is a bend in the hood, you can see the fiber reflection on the edges. That subwoofer is actually a 15" sub mounted in a rediculous enclosure. Just look at the end facing you in the center, you'll see the magnet coil.
