If you guys want some practice, you can join my series on Saturday nights for the last two rounds. We run 60 minute races on RM tires with x1 tires and fuel. Tomorrow is La Sarthe and the finale is at Spa. We always get around 12 drivers so a few more would be nice to fill out the grid. Pigems has raced with the IRS group before so he knows how fast the Pro field is. But the Am guys need some more challenge :)

Sounds interesting, but I don't feel like changing my livery to fit your requirements .

If that's seriously stopping you from racing then I'll let you join with your current livery. A few more cars always feels nice. We have another series starting up 2 weeks after this ends. GT3 cars in a 90 minute race. Good fun.

On second thought I think it wouldn't be wise to have you race in the finale just because you wouldn't want to unintentionally negatively affect someone's race, y'know? Give it a few weeks and we'll have a new GT3 series up to take the place of Pigem's Saturday lobby. I hope most of you guys can make it for the whole season. It's gonna be 8 races with a two week break for Christmas and New Year's

I like Sarthe and longer races, what time is the race today? Ah nvm it's in your sig.
Checking out the link, meanwhile next race is starting!

Any lap times so far?

I did an offline custom race the other night (replay a page or 2 back) & best I could do is in the 2:19s & that only happened once. I can comfortably pull 21s. More test runs should result in more confidence with the car & more speed. But in the meantime, I'll have to get used to seeing Mr. Sparkle on the rear of @Pigems car.

I really wanted to put this one on the back bumper, but I couldn’t make it fit in a way that I liked.

Edit: I’ve got a practice room open now for anyone interested. :)

Hey @Sven Jurgens I saw your post in my thread. Being that we only have two races left and the championships are really close I'm gonna give you some special instructions. Enjoy the race, but if anyone is coming up on you for an overtake DO NOT resist and let them get by. I don't want you to negatively affect someone's race when they're fighting for a championship. Let them get by you easily so they can race who matters, but if you're behind someone give them Hell, y'know? Either way your position won't count for points, it will just be for you to learn from the track experience. Let's say you finish 3rd but a championship driver finishes 4th. Your position will be removed and everyone below moves up a slot. I'd hate for the championship to be decided by a new driver popping in for a race and throwing things for a loop

I'm amazed that I didn't see anything like this on your car.

I'll be in that room in a few minutes. I somehow feel the need for speed.

@NoStopN Do you have your car turned up to 102% Power(553hp)?

Oh yes. Like I said, I haven't driven this car until just the other night, so I had to find out some of its handling quirks. Now, I've just got to get gud.

Sounds perfect to me. I'll be slow in the first laps anyway as I'm fully tuned to Spa. I'm there for the experience if spots permitting and clean driving is my thing :) When I get lapped (very possible) do you want me to move over or stick to the racing line and let them by from there?

Just like real life, the lapped cars stay on the racing line and anyone lapping them has to find the right place on track to do it cleanly and safely. We have two drivers in the Am division that happily run multiple laps down every race so it's good practice for overtaking lapped cars. We have a party chat with most people and he usually joins so he can hear people saying when they're coming up on him and he can inform of us of what he is doing.

I've just completed at 50 min enduro race against the AI in Custom Race mode. 20 cars with me at the back. I completed 21 laps, but that included one spin at the Bus Stop on lap 2 and one pit stop for fuel and tyres towards the end. Having other cars on track helped me get more of a feel for the car. Changed my wheel settings as a result.
