@DesertPenguin During qualifying in your race was the first time ever that I have seen the repair function work in the pits  I didn't have the 'pleasure' of using it during the race, my car came out in pristine condition :) Driving with the car pulling left was fun lol and I gained a few places from others limping to the pit during the race. One car seemed to be smoking

It worked pretty well at my Catalunya event, apart from @NoStopN getting sever glitched.

I should post the in race video from that. It was both hilarious & disappointing.

Grid start might work, then. I'll do a little testing this week if I can find a few victims . . sorry, helpers, to help out.

I have the entire replay. Hilarious is definitely one word to describe it.

I'll post some details in here when I get a practice lobby open this week. We can test a couple start procedures, and get some general practice in.

At the moment, my favourite idea for a manual rolling start is a normal grid start, then have the leader run at a set speed until Stavelot. After Stavelot, he can decide when to start the race. That way, there's a decent ish spread for the chicane, and La Source.

I don't know why I'm saying "the leader" . . I should just say @Mistah_MCA

Slightly off topic, I've run a couple of arcade races with the tire setup that we are going to run & I've got to say, the wheel makes you feel bolder & more capable of catching the car under certain conditions. I'm going into my first daily with it, so I'll see how confident I am with it.

So we grid start, and then pole leads the pack on lap 1 until Stavelot?

Not the same car! Different downforce and grip! Be careful!

I was using the R.S.01. I'm also trying to drive without TCS. That's even bigger of a challenge to me.

I generally leave TCS on 1. I'm usually good enough to not need it, and it does allow a decent amount of slip. But, has enough control to catch some mistakes.

It won't catch all of them. But, it's a nice safety net until I get better at throttle control.

I toyed around with TC 1 on the R.S. & several cars in the dailies. Level 1 still seems to let more wheel slip than I prefer. Still got 2 weeks to figure it out.

How’s the wheel going? I used TCS 2 for a long while before finally turning it off, it will catch near all mistakes except some in MR cars and once it becomes a nuisance/slowing you down you know it’s time to turn it off. I no longer use it with anything except the go kart. :)

It's certainly a learning experience. I've inevitably gotten a bit slower, but the dynamics are different, so it'll take some time & practice. I actually ran the last race of the night with TC off. I think it's just the track. I've only used it on RBR & the humps upset the 86. I was able to avoid them in the Mustang. I did try to hustle the Renault in another arcade race with TC2 & it seemed to work OK.

i thought i'd never see the day when i got rid of TCS, especially in Gr1 & Gr2 cars where i was like Bambi on ice. Then i remember a time when i'd been switching between TCS1 and 0 and then halfway thru a race i noticed i'd been racing entirely with TCS0... once i knew that, the nerves set in and i was conscious of spinning out at every turn.. bit of a placebo effect in my mind. Now i don't use it at all in any car.. part of me feels like the updates have made it easier to handle with TCS0, but i'll never know if it's my mind or an actual thing?!?

Awesome man! Sounds you’re adapting quickly. Just let me know when you’re available for sessions and we’ll setup a lobby. Keep at it man! 👍
