I’ll be honest, my entry is just a re-jigged version of my standard livery, adapted to include the required stickers and it’s fairly basic so I’m sure it won’t win, but I’m quite chuffed it’s been in a couple of actual Audi Sport tweets.

It looks a bit ‘privateer/gentleman racer’ compared to the more adventurous, modern dtm style entries so might have a play and see if inspiration strikes for next week but enjoying mucking about anyway.

racer, your entries usually catch my eye, I liked the dhl one (the black over the blue) and this week’s and also like the Senna inspired helmet in your avatar, that’s very well done.

(I’d stick a picture of my livery in as it appears the done thing to do but I don’t know how to do it!)

Thanks.
Might have one more entry in me.

You can copy the image address from GTSport site and then import it into the text using the picture icon in the bar options at the top of the reply box.

Frame by framed the video of this weeks selection, looks like one of my designs is in there (GT2 inspired) and I didn’t fore fill the entry requirements of the competition!

No social media post made, only two of the requested three tags used in GT sport, just making up the numbers I guess...

New design contest has started. What are you going to with your previous desgins? I think I will make minor adjustments to mine and submit them again. I would recommend you to do that too, in worst case they won't be considered but could still increase your chances to get selected. The effort for this should be quite low :-)

I keep the sponsorship layouts the same, but I will put together a new base layout.

I'll be adding the BTCC version to the collection

Rally Quattro version, since replicas are allowed.

My Carbon entry was obviously quite popular with whoever did the video for this weeks race.

Did an evo of my base livery, as if the team had fluked a wildcard to a grown up race and thrown a (little) bit of money at the design department.

(that’s if I can get the picture to work of course)

Not sure about the flashes on the splitter but went with them anyway.

@graveltrap - Really like the silver BTCC one. The rally replica from @Racerx_34 is also cool, but this time I have to say the one from @Taxrik is my favourite one.

I have also designed two more cars, but unfortunately my daughters as a doctor's appointment on Tuesday, so I need to skip this week's design contest. On which social networks have you posted your liveries? I have seen the rally replica on twitter, but the haven't seen the others yet.

Twitter and Reddit.

I have another one done but I might keep it until next week.

Edit: Mind yourself. Hope everything goes well.

Delphinho, thank you, and best wishes for your daughter’s appointment. I’ve not put any of mine on any social media as yet but they’ve made it to the ‘roulette’ tweets. Perhaps I’ll stick a scapes of this one on Twitter and link it to the rcco racehome account (have you found that on Twitter? It’s (at)rccoracehome but they’ve only got 19 followers.)

Racer, that Quattro homage is very well done, looks cool.

Graveltrap, I did a BTCC homage on the hybrid VGT a while back and used to run the TT (one of my favourite cars for racing) in a similar scheme but your version with the black skirts and different angle on the four circles really works, looks clean and neat, good job.

Thanks mate.

They have created this account a week ago. It's also followed by the official Audi Sport account. I would mention these two accounts account the tweet along with some hashtags that are often used. The more reachireach a specific threshold of impressions the number of impressions will explode. For some reasons my first tweet of my Bamboo design managed to get 2000+ impressions. RCCO then also posted this livery on their Facebook page. But for all all other, posts I just reached around 100 impressions, so I don't really know how to influence this. I assume if a person with high centrality likes it, this can get a boost. To achieve that, you need to make use of the right hashtags in the right moment.

Twitter is all about posting at the right moment.
I find my posts tend to pick up likes late on Saturday.
That's normally around the time Audi Sport like them.

Edit:
I checked the FB page and just noticed somebody else did a version of the rally replica last week.

Yikes.

So, if I read the attachment to this tweet correctly, the Racehome races are recorded on MONDAY NIGHTS, not Tuesdays, which, in the unlikely event I had been selected, rules me out because of work. Oh well.

Yes, looks like they changed it :-(. It was fit sure Tuesday morning at the beginning.

From their Homepage:
"The weekly #RaceHome events of the RCCO E-Sport Series take place every Monday evening. As with many big TV shows, the races are pre-recorded and streamed on YouTube the next evening from 8 PM CEST. The race format is designed for maximum entertainment. Commentator is Dave Richardson. Hosts are Le Mans record winner Tom Kristensen, former DTM champion Frank Biela and communications pro Thomas Voigt. German commentator is Oliver Sittler, report Peter Reichert."

We all doing replica type liveries now?

It's nice in fairness.

Another winner from Japan.

Would you be in for a fun race with the etron Audi using your favourite contribution for the 5th design contest later this week? Pictures of the race would be great on social media, as we could say we bring the design competition also on the track.

I'd have a go.

Just the matter of picking one of the designs. :D

I have another idea for one, plus the Subaru idea.
Added to the two I have for next week.

What track?

We can also make a couple of 2-3 lap races and switch liveries in between.

Edit:
As track, I would suggest one of the remaining:
- Laguna Seca
- Bathurst
- Brands Hatch
- Spielberg
- N'Ring
- Interlagos
- Fuji

I'll probably use one of these:

Still don't know how Carbon was good enough for the YouTube video backgrounds, but not to actually win.

Unfortunately I am back to work which means a week in London so no chance to play :(

You should submit them again, they are amazing. It will be impossible fornthe DTM Drivers to remember all liveries, so I would give it another try.

Shifts permitting I’d be up for giving the e-tron a run out, but I’m pretty much restricted to Tuesdays or Sundays at the mo. But arrange a time that’s good for you all and if I can make it I will as they are liable to change at short notice.

As for re-submissions, why not, just because they picked a livery one week, doesn’t mean that it wasn’t a split vote and yours might have been in the mix. Persistence and a familiar name may well count too, you never know. I hope to see at least one of you on the grid one Tuesday night and rest assured I’ll be cheering you on!

Whilst casting around for entertainment yesterday I discovered that DTM put all their races on YouTube as ‘as live’ replays, which has filled me with joy because I do like a bit of dtm but haven’t watched it for a few years. (Just search ‘DTM’)

I also note, however, that my stock ‘BNLNR’ livery which I came up with this year for all my cars looks a lot like a rip-off of Bruno Spengler’s BMW Bank livery! (It isn’t, honest!). I’m glad I didn’t choose #7 for the number, otherwise I’d have a hard job defending myself. I also hope they didn’t think I was a secret BMW fan and knock marks off for that!!

Happy new week my friends.
