Whilst casting around for entertainment yesterday I discovered that DTM put all their races on YouTube as ‘as live’ replays, which has filled me with joy because I do like a bit of dtm but haven’t watched it for a few years. (Just search ‘DTM’)View attachment 919538

I also note, however, that my stock ‘BNLNR’ livery which I came up with this year for all my cars looks a lot like a rip-off of Bruno Spengler’s BMW Bank livery! (It isn’t, honest!). I’m glad I didn’t choose #7 for the number, otherwise I’d have a hard job defending myself. I also hope they didn’t think I was a secret BMW fan and knock marks off for that!!

I decided to go all-in and submitted 5 designs this week. Reworked my previous 3 (now they are really final) and added two more.

I see both my designs made the final clip again.

Racer, tricky choice between your two, like the green area but I think the decals look better on the all black so I’d probably go for that one.

Delphinho, all good but I think the gold one is my favourite, just.

I prefer the colour changer too, as that was the original design concept.
I did the green one because I wasn't happy with the other colour changer concept so I replaced it with matte green instead.

I checked the two winning liveries in game and I have to say they are really cool this week. I'm curious to see whether both drivers attended the race. In the race preview the mentioned both, but only talked about one livery:

Last night, I also couldn't resist to do two more liveries :-D. One is really just for fun featuring Star Wars decals, the other one is a tribute to two of my favourite drivers (Laurent Aiello & Tom Kristensen). I was so proud when I won Tom Kristensen's Hasseröder base cap in a quiz challenge at the N'Ring DTM Race 2004. Would wear it in the stream, in case I'll make it with this livery. But to be honest, the quality of the liveries is increasing every week, so I do not really expect to win anymore. But on the other hand, designing liveries are really fun.

Yeah, I noticed they only mentioned the white/blue one in the write up, I wonder if the Martini livery maker couldn’t race so they went with the runner up? Will have to wait and see who’s sitting on the grid tonight. Cool Hasseroder livery too, nicely done.

Just watching it now. So that’s the third place design racing after the Martini and the Jumbo liveries?

Mucking about today and, while I might not be entering it, came up with a more radical design. Some bits don’t quite work and might have a bit of a fiddle but doesn’t look bad from some angles! I’ll put it on here later, though I’ve put the car back in last week’s livery again.

Was a really cool race. A bit weird, that no one of the announced winners showed up. Seeing Tom Kristensen in the Live Stream made me create a new livery. Furthermore, I reworked one my previous ones, so my highest hopes are now for these three liveries:

The color scheme looks really good. I like the combination of green, white & black.

Can you maybe also try to replace black with blue? Then you would have the color scheme und of the former cycling team Kelme Costa Blanca, which was extremely popular popular. 20 years ago. I can imagine this would look good too on the Audi.

Created another one tonight, so in total I have now 8 contributions for this week. I should definitely stop it now... I hope, at least a few of them will make it into their final video :-)

Delphinho - Green, white and black are the colours of my county flag (Devon) although I have used a slightly brighter green in the liveries.

Once again, while watching the DTM replies I notice that the 2019 #11 BMW (Wittman) ran in green/white/black, they must be convinced I’m a secret BMW fan!

I’d not heard of that cycle team, my favourite team tends to be whichever one Mark Cavendish rides for. I might have a go at changing the black to blue when I have a spare five minutes.

Totally agree with that. It's eye catching on the first view and still impressive after that. Additionally ist clearly a color that has not been in the grid so far.

Taxrik - about the colors I didn't now that, but now I totally understand. I think with this color ombination a lot of more amazing liveries are possible.

Ah ok. I do wish they’d put up the tracks so people could practice.

Yes me too. At least for Nordschleife people can practise now. I recommend to participate this dedicated design contest and keep fingers crossed for you.

I also hope, I don't have to race at Bathurst, I'm really bad on this track...
