FalseSpecs need a look. Focus too slow, Renault too fast.
When I can run a 58.2 and a 59.0 on the same tire, same track conditions, and equal tune with both cars, I find quite the contraryFalse

I'll take it to PM.I'm not sure what you mean by my "shenanigans" @nascarfan1400 but mum laughed when she saw it![]()
Other than Autumn ring mini, Focus will be at a huge disadvantage. I'll have a good lap time because of tune, but I'll be unable to do anything in the race because I'm getting nerfed for effort. Last season, the same thing happened, but I didn't say anything because I knew I'd be only occasionally competing whereas this season, I'll be here hopefully for every roundYou can't just base it on a single track though. Ford handles the best so it will be quickest at places like Autumn Ring.
This is how I ran a majority of my races today, I waited for the faster guys to mess up, while I passed the slower guys. Me being off pace was lack of momentum however. The Renault speculations are fine.Yes the problem with a good handling car is that it is usually slower on the straights. It has to be to keep it balanced. This means you can just never get alongside anyone to overtake with your superior grip, so you have to just keep pressuring them and hope they make a mistake. I had this problem all last season the with Hondas when I was driving BMW.
However this problem would probably be almost non-existent if Andrew upped the slipstream a level. But we don't run the series. You are told all the regulations, so use a car that works best for you. If you think another car is faster, why not use that car instead?
@Spurgy 777Who had any setup tips for the bimmers? I would really appreciate the help.

Nope it's down, no one showed up.Room still up? Can't see it.
That's just me being stupid in a test race. I think everyone in ITCC can be trusted not to do that in the real deal.Once again, I was attacked in my Achilles Heel in race 1 when the track was full wet. Worse, I had Comfort Soft tires on the car at the start. I should have put the Full Wets on before the race.
For race 2, I opted to start on the Inters given the track was at 30% wetness and it seemed to pay off at first when I had the lead briefly. Eventually, the track dried out and I gradually fell back towards the rear and eventually pitted for Mediums near the end of the race.
For race 3, I though of tweaking with the transmission settings a bit might help with getting up to speed quicker. I think it worked because I was able to gain 2 spots from where I started between the start and finish.
The finale was a real tight one as I didn't want to bump anyone and ruin their respective races. There was a instance or two wher someone I bumped went off rack and I lifted the throttle to let them back in front of me.
Now with the Nurburgring DTM track on for next week, I'll see if I can get the car to be as quick at that track. Though there aren't that many lengthy straights as Silverstone National. I also noticed @nascarfan1400 took advantage of short-cutting the NGK Chicane twice in the test race to gain a positional advantage. Any chance we can turn the settings for the penalties on to prevent this for next week?
I'll give you mine when I get some time![]()

Also @ITCC_Andrew any idea when I'll be contacted by Renault?
But I like my rims.![]()
Same here. That's why I nearly go crazy when I see someone without a wing.Actually? Okay............... Just don't expect to be featured in many photoshootsIt kinda kills the mood when there are random pink cars with pink/chrome rims in the middle of a serious-looking touring car series.
I'm really just being nit-picky, but I've always been a huge fan of uploading post-race photos to flickr.
