@JacobRPP, sorry, I forgot to update BMW to factory status in OP when I announced that BMW and Mazda were switching places. Mazda is Independent, BMW factory. I'm trying to balance out the teams - when two really fast guys signed up for BMW, I was like "wait, you guys can't be independents...." and I realized no one had really put any interest into Mazda...

Regarding camber, it's used in FF-car tuning to change the handling characteristics between understeer and oversteer, by working with rear camber to improve turn-in.. The idea being that reducing the surface area of the rear tires reduces the amount of grip which is "taken away" from the front tires when the weight shifts towards the back of the car. Or, in other words, it gives more front grip to reduce rear grip because you get a little bit more slide-angle with less rear grip.

Regarding Schumi's coma, I'm happy for him, noting that his family is the group entity who announced he was retaining consciousness from time to time...

You should put that in the support thread if you haven't yet.

Its alright. I don't mind going up against the settled-in drivers. Maybe shake them up a bit after a few races, when I get the hang of the car. But its all up to the manufacture, if they want to bet on a wild card.

Maybe Volvo would suit me, as they ramped up their efforts in Australia in the last year.

And if @KingSakery puts the MINI in front of Spurgy? :D BMW reps would relieve themselves of the bricks they were carrying in their intestines.

Fair enough Jacob, you can run the BMW if you want, but I'm just covering my own furry tail and explaining that you don't have to choose BMW if you don't want to. :)

Its all about trial and error.

Soon it'll just be "refer to what ITCC_Andrew said."

C'mon, anyone else going to join me in the creation of funny quotes?

Was today a record turnout?

12 people...

No. It was a record turnout since Season 1, though, I think...?

And, in terms of the number of competitive cars, it was a record. Season 1 was a flurry of skill levels, car performance levels and tire wear levels. In the end, it was, in my opinion, the second worst season, but had the best turn out. 3 and 4 have been my favourite seasons, with a continued presence of ~8 cars.

5 promises to be the best season yet, building on 4 with better connection and organization. Stricter penalties to start with, to hopefully keep things tidy later in the season, and generally more good guys racing.

We've lost some of the early good guys who made Season 1 interesting, and contributed to the survival of ITCC through its start-up phase, but there are still some Season 1 veterans like me and cnd. But, the new guys are very welcome and exciting. It's hard to imagine where ITCC would be without Jammy, Ciro, Blake and various others who've joined recently. Even you, nas, it would be weird to not have to deal with you around here. :D

So, yes, if you're commenting, saying that it seems like the series is stronger now than ever before, yes, it very much is.

He he, I have a very dirty permanent record in 3, and a dusty one in 4... So far I have a clean record in 5 :)

I'm not being offensive, just defending myself on having something which almost resembles a life.
