I own no content for the game and added all content to my cart and it came to about $134. I didn't purchase it, but with the current offers that's the cost.

I'm quite tempted to start. Was going to hold out as i'm playing AC and i have some costs this month... but what the heck the info on the last page is quite convincing.

- If you buy a pack, like say the DTM 2014 one, does the European track pack get a lot cheaper because you already own half of the tracks from purchasing the DTM pack? I think that's what @BrandonW77 said but i want to make sure.

- I've also noticed that with this discount at the moment, it's better to just buy the car and some liveries you like than the car pack. Case in point the M1 pack. If i just buy the car and a couple of liveries it's cheaper than buying the M1 pack, which gives you the same single car but 28 liveries with some i don't like. This is correct no?

Yes, the European track pack should be considerably cheaper if you buy DTM 2014.

Yes, it's always cheaper to just buy the M1 by itself than buying the pack with all the liveries. That's what I did. 👍

Edit: ok i think i figured it out. You have to create a profile on the raceroom site so you can buy all the packs, cars and tracks from there. Then you have to register on their other separate store site where they offer the VRP bundles (why the heck isn't that on the same site)?

Then you buy the VRP bundle, the redeem code get's send to your email, redeem the code on the portal and then buy the packs/cars/tracks, and how does the portal link to your steam account and copy of the game?

Quite complicated for a beginner to say the least :dopey:

You don't have to do all that. If you go to the Store from within the game you just add the items you want to your cart, there you'll see the price in your local currency. When you hit the checkout button a little Steam window will pop up asking if you want to add that amount of money to your wallet, then click ok and you'll get sent back to the game and your content will be there. It's really quite easy doing it that way. 👍

Too late :D

I wanted to buy one of these VRP bundles in advance (game is still downloading). It's bedtime for me now but tomorrow when the game is downloaded from steam i guess i can just log on to my R3R account that i just made ingame, redeem the VRP bundle code and start shopping.

Edit: Eastern morning shopping spree is over! I purchased 7500VRP's for 50 bucks and managed to get everything i wanted in game. That is:

- DTM 2014 pack (only pack i bought)
- 7 circuits (i prefered buying them seperately as the euro track pack contained some i wasn't interested in).
- 20 cars
- 5 or so liveries.

All in all, for 50€ i got a lot of content for my money thanks to this discount. I also tried buying cars and circuits which i don't have in AC to keep things fresh 👍

New to PC racing (3 weeks), got AC & yesterday Raceroom with European track pack & 1992 DTM pack. Enjoying them both so much but a quick question about RRE, how can I switch from manual H shifter to paddle change?

Already have that in place. It will shift up 1 gear but no more. Will try unassigning my H shifter & see what happens.

So, after watching the above video quite some time ago, I've been considering getting the ADAC GT Masters 2014 DLC, simply for the ADAC/GT3 off-line experience (full series, rules, regs, etc). But with Project CARS looming in the near future, I'm wondering if I should just hold off and see how that goes (if released) and put my funds there, or if I should get ADAC GT Masters 2014 and enjoy it while P.CARS gets it's 'teething' out of the way.

I've tried R3E with just the 'free' content, and I enjoyed the mini diversion from AC, wasn't too happy with the (IMO) 'limited' FOV adjustments, but found a happy medium with it and was impressed with the FFB once I had settings sorted out.

TL;DR - Anyone here have experience with the ADAC GT Masters 2014 DLC pack ?

@Kurei: Forcefeedbackwise adac gt2014 is the most recent updated, the gtr3 and adac 2013 have older physics, Sector3 said they will be updating gtr3 class as well in the future though..
The pack is certainly well worth cause all the cars have their own characteristics and you obtain 8? tracks, singleplayerchampionship, Multiplayer,...

I personally only have the Corvette C6R adac 14.. Cause as you say GT3 is very present in Pcars (which i probably wont buy) and AC (which i do play). And i consider it to be a bit double content.. though I also have the BMW M6 from the GTR3 class and i love it as well :D

Greetz

Am I correct to believe, according to that third icon on the track logo, that they also host pedal-bike races ?

Will probably be giving ADAC GT Masters 2014 a whirl this weekend, should be fun.

I think the track is part of some bicycleroute in the mountains of Salzburg :) So yes, you are correct yo believe that

Get it. If you're ok with the FFB in the free cars then you'll enjoy the 2014 ADAC cars a lot, and R3E does the best job of simulating a true racing event and a season long championship. And beating the AI in this sim will make you feel like a "driving god". It may not end up being your favorite sim, but I'm pretty sure you'll never regret the purchase. 👍

Group 5 pack was released today. I know what i'm racing when i get home this evening. Gonna jump in the chevy monza. Who would have ever thought we'd be racing a group 5 monza in a sim.

They are thrilling cars.. Already had the BMW 320 (in discount for 75cents) and that cars gave me the most immersive ride ever.. Now added the Fabcar 935 and the Nissan Skyline Silhouette to my collection And they are evenly - although totally different -great to ride!
