Hey guys. If I'm not mistaken you're doing 7 lap races today starting in 45 minutes? Can I join in for a bit?

So I've been having fun in 'Daily' Race B - BoP Gp4s @ Dragon Trial Seaside II. Maybe we can do this tomorrow? Except, random Gp4 car choice - computer chooses, no two cars of the same type on track. Sound worthwhile?

Sorry can’t make it at normal time as doing taxi service. Might be there around 930pm if you’re all still racing.

Famine's doing some Kerfuffling on Tuesday fellas, so get them motors ready!
I won't, because I'll be in Staines to drive a Czech crossover. I think you and @Venari both have the Kerfuffle Excel file if you want to run it.

I did have half an idea for a Supra/Supra/Supra pick'n'mix. Six races at six tracks, and all players must use the A70, A80 and A90 Supra twice each.

That sounds like a plan.. I'd prefer three tracks, but we'll see...

Happy Czeching by the way Famine.

Okay chaps. Grab your three Supras and set them to N500 standard. We'll use S/M tyres, have BoP in play, and give the S/S-S/H shakeup thing a go again. I don't think it worked too well on Comfort tyres because of the breadth of variation, but on Sports I'm hoping it'll be spot on.

Let's start at Suzuka eh?

Greetings folks. Everyone got a Stratos? Never mind because, despite the title, it is perfectly acceptable to utilise the 'Japanese Stratos' AKA MR2 for this week's racing, if you don't have the necessary credits to buy the little Italian, or you find its curious handling balance a bit too weird.

Anyway, for those who do have/like the Stratos, it will be set at 100% power and weight, on S/H tyres, and tuning will be prohibited. The MR2 gets dragged down to minimum power and weight, and the numbers balance at that point. Having said that, I don't have a clue how their lap times compare! Watch this space :)

So, the land sea and air thing. We'll kick off with a couple of races at Dragon Trail Seaside, followed by a couple at Sardegna Windmills, to get some air (see what I did there?). Those who are too quick will have their wing clipped, as always, and those who are dropping off the back a bit will be given a boost to even things up.

Tyre and fuel wear will be on, but at minimal setting; there won't be any penalties.

So, if you've got the dosh, grab yourself a very poorly built tin can, and luxuriate in some of the strongest turn-in in the gam.... Bugger, I spun it again.

Cheers, Zo.

Strange thing just happened. I logged in, and when I saw my profile, I could swear it said 'Known Murderer'. I promise you that I'm not.

Anyway, tonight the settings for the MR2 are 81% power, 86% weight. So there. See you on track, hopefully.

Cheers, Zo.

According to @Famine, the collective noun for Stratos is 'clusterf...'. Yeah, 'bout sums it up. :D
That picture is just beautiful man. Reminds me of the 1960s.

Anyway. How about Brands GP and Autopolis tonight, N200s, BoP in play, once you've won a race in a car you can no longer use it, but everybody else can if they want.

C/S tyres, short races with reverse grids...

Cheers, Zo.

An old favourite of some has returned to GT, in the shape of the Toyota Sprinter Trueno 1600GT APEX (AE66) '83. It's a big mouthful for such a little car, but the thing has been well liked since its introduction to the series many years ago.

Therefore, tonight we'll be slinging it around Maggiore East for a bit of a laugh. Power will be variable, but weight set down to 93%, which is the lowest it will go with the first level of reduction.

It comes as standard on S/H tyres, so that's what we'll use, probably with extremely high depletion of them and fuel.

So, shell out your 25,000 credits, slap some paint on, and come and join in the fun :)

Cheers, Zo.

Chaps and chaplets.

So as our glorious leader @Groot is splitting to focus on proper serious racing, we don't have anything in the docket for tonight. I don't mind sorting something out if so desired - it'll likely be something cheap and easy though (title of your mum's sex tape)...

... I'm thinking BMW i3s?

Just kidding

Feels a bit thin on the ground. My racing nights are restricted, so I'll flick over to Wednesdays and do some fia, see if I can't get my rating up a bit.

If we can get a crowd organised it'd be great to keep racing with you guys

The spirit is willing, but the flesh is spongy and bruised...

... I spent a couple of hours too many perched on my garage roof yesterday removing ivy, and I'm barely mobile (and VERY drugged) today. I'm genuinely unsure if I'll make it, because I'm asleep and there's not much chance of me wrangling my wheel.

My plan was to do N100s (usual fare - if you win in a car, you're banned from it) at Red Bull Ring Short.

Who's ivy?
A very clingy sort, from one of the neighbouring houses...

Anyway, as I'm not right in the head and I sort out races for LANs, I don't mind filling in for @Zolon32 while he tries to qualify to a World Tour just so he can meet me. I don't really want to take over, as I'm a Johnny-Come-Lately to RR, but I'm aware how mad it can be trying to come up with fresh combinations of fun races for all abilities, so if there's no other takers I can throw some events at you to keep it going.

I've got a few things in mind:

*Standard class racing - last night would have been N100s at RBR Short, and we did have a lobby, but I only attracted a @Sparkz_360
*Kerfuffles - I still need to address an issue with Kerfuffling and I've not had the time to sit down and math it out; they're also very daunting for newcomers (@homeforsummer), with a thirty car list, and very definitely an event more suited to a full day of racing or a consistent league than 90 minutes of a Tuesday evening. I can probably sort out a Minifuff, with a reduced car list, or if we want to do a multi-week Kerfuffle event, I'm well down for it.
*EZGT - an imported @Venari idea, which usually proves to be good fun with the different approaches to the lap time. Needs people to put time into practicing and building cars though.
*BOPs and Rozzers - like EZGT but with a chase car. Not exactly a demonstration of superior racecraft, but I recall it was a laugh last time.
*Six and Two Threes - I pick six cars (likely to a theme) and six tracks for six races. You can race any track with any car, but each car is available to you just once. Well suited to an evening's racing.
*Your idea here

I'd suggest we kick off next Tuesday with the standard class racing or a Six and Two Threes, as it's what you'd need the least preparation for.

If I'm not sent to Morocco with 12 hours' notice (:odd:) I'd be up for this, and "six and two threes" in particular as that format has worked well at previous UKGTPs. Seems to involve less planning than the others.

So, how do we fancy this Six and Two Threes?

Citroen DS3 Racing '11
Ford Focus ST '15
MINI Cooper S '05 (I'll add some power to this; need to test a bit more first)
Peugeot 208 GTI by Peugeot Sport '14
Renault Clio RS 220 EDC Trophy '16
Volkswagen Golf VII GTI '14

Autopolis Short - 4 laps
Blue Moon Bay Speedway Infield A II - 8 laps
Brands Hatch Indy - 5 laps
Lago Maggiore Center II - 5 laps
Red Bull Ring Short - 5 laps
Tokyo Expressway East Outer Loop - 2 laps

Approximate deal is lobby up at 8pmish, try to start racing at 8.30pm (BST).
That should work. There's a small chance I might be commuting back from London that day but 8pm should be just late enough for me to be around.
