Great fun last night. I really struggled with the kart, qualifying last so was really pleased to end up 3rd. Backed it up with a 3rd in each of the single seater races which I really did not expect. Great races everyone, clean and fair as always. 👍

I enjoy racing with you all so I will try again next week.

see you soon.

No problem fellas, we've all got lives outside GT6, it's always good when you can make it, but when you can't, you can't.

I'd like to try and get a photo for next week's racing fellas. Are there a couple of guys who could give me quarter of an hour, around 20:30GMT tonight please? (Wednesday, that is.)

Oh, also, well done to Jammy. I'm really glad we've got someone who can give Dusty something to race for, It must be pretty boring for him when you're not there.

And finally, I'm putting up a pole regarding our start time. Please read all of the options, because more than one could be relevant to each person.

Cheers, Zo.

I maybe free around that time. If I can make it are there any cars in particular I can get ready?

Provided it's not too early, it's not the starting time that affects me. More the finishing time. As long as we finish around 10:15 to 10:30, I'm easy.
I'd suggested 8pm earlier to achieve this (and to perhaps help those in Europe) but we've been finishing quite early recently so I'm not opposed to a slightly later start. I suppose it depends what you have planned for each Tuesday and how long it will last - I can always leave earlier if needed

I'm planning on using the E Type, the Merc 300SL (the gullwing job, but not the chromeline) and a Corvette coupe from the same era, but I forget the full details now. They're all lovely to drive, and can be made quite evenly matched with a bit of pp fiddling. Or I might leave them all at the same pp and do a bit of a handicap thing again, tighten up the field you know.

Cheers, Zo.

OK Zo. I thought those were the ones you mentioned, but I wasn't sure.
I think I have the Merc and the Corvette (C2?). I'll have to get the Jag - which deserves to be a premium model.

I'll have to get the Jag

I was going to say 'no you don't, I've got them all', but then again, if we're going to race them all you will need one, so fill your boots. The Jag will be set at 463pp.

Cheers, Zo.

EDIT, I'M ON NOW.........

Hi Zo
I'm away for work stuff so won't make the races tonight. :guilty:
I have all 3 cars and they're excellent to drive. 👍
Have fun.

Me again @Zolon32 ......I have had no practise whatsoever mainly because of time and can't find the track, is it possible you could open the room at about 19:15 tonight please so I can get a few laps in as I hate using Sat Nav during a race.

Thanks and look forward to it.

Can't make tonight either guys. Have fun!

A great pity chaps, hopefully it'll be okay for next week.

No problem Coke. I'll set it up before 7:00pm, but I won't be able to stay with it personally from that point. I'll be along later.

Looking at the way the voting on start times has gone I'll kick the racing off at 20:30GMT, so there'll be plenty of time to get used to the track. It's a reasonably simple one.

Cheers, Zo.

Brilliant fun tonight Zolon and thanks for hosting.

Boy what a great clutch of cars all feeling good to drive but all in their different ways, well done Zo for choosing them.

Had some good battles but just want to say Gamer don't know what happened as I said on mic I was catching you and about two car lengths behind when suddenly you car looked like it hit an invisible force and just jumped 90 deg to the left, I don't want you to think I hit you.
Also sorry Jocke for the bump up the rear I gave you.....Ooerr missis.... I misjudged my braking point and your car stopped quicker than I realised.

All in all a good nights racing.

Cheers gents

No worries at all, coke. My braking points aren't always perfect either.
Race incident.

I should really be sleeping but I'm stuck listening to this;

And making these at the same time.

Zo, do I need to be a member of your club to race in Turnaround race? I want to learn how to do this Turnaround race.

Hello. Just saying hi from Reefer's thread. I can't see what the next race is. Is it not publicised here, and is in the community club only?

Hi Venari. It's getting confusing, I'm seing the same people all over the place now.:boggled:

Yes, it is usually club only - Racers Reunited
(Same applies to your question Harsk)

And the coming weeks details are found in post one and two
(Although it's a little more complicated than usual this coming Tuesday)

Thanks for getting those replies in Paul. I'd done 90% of a post replying to them myself, then the computer turned itself off!

I hope it's not going to be too complicated for people. I'm quite looking forward to seeing how we deal with the turning round at the start issue. It looks to me like getting up to 30MPH, giving it full lock and grabbing 1st could work, but it's a bit hit and miss.

Cheers, Zo.

OK, got it.

You do know you can't paint the R8 Gordini, or attach race numbers, right? :D

Unfortunately that's true Venari; I discovered it this afternoon. Can't even change the wheels for a bit of distinction :(

But, fortunately it's a belting drive, and just edgy enough to make racing it nice and close a very intense experience :)

The replay's will be confusing, but I think the racing is going to be excellent. Hopefully.

Cheers, Zo.
