I think most of you have noticed that Climbing the Ladder has died due to a bout of writers block, I apologize dearly to whoever was disappointed by its death. As I'm starting to get more time, I have decided to start up a new fanfiction story. As you can see, it's called 'Racing After Midnight' and It's about a young man is just starting his racing career

"I'll See you later." Said Justine as she left the Restaurant
"Bye, I'll pick you up later." Said Micheal just before he walked straight into a Mustang.

"Dad, why is there a car in the middle of the square?"
"I drove it in for you just as we were about to leave." Replied Mr. Zhu
"You mean..."
"Yes son, It's your birthday gift."

"Wow! Isn't the insurance really expensive on these cars?"
"I registered it under my name for now, just try not to crash, okay son?
Michael Said: "Sounds good to me." As he grabbed the keys

"Pull off of the highway here, I need you to drop me off at my class."

"So how are you liking the car?"
"Well it's faster than your Murano for starters."

"Why don't you step on it a bit?"
"You only had to ask, old man."

"Hmmm, the brakes are pretty good."

"This doesn't handle like a regular Mustang, who did you get it off of?"
"The Previous owner said that the car has a Roush Performance Package."

"Good call, it handles real well for a solid axle"

"Did the last guy do something to the power too?"
"I think it was a new ECU and air filter."

"This runs real well for a car that's done 50,000 miles."
"Are you saying my Murano doesn't?

"Well the Murano is Japanese, it should run fine no matter what."

"Let's see how it handles at high speed"

"When I said you could step on it I didn't mean you should do 90 miles an hour on the way to drop me off to a dance class."

"Well we're here now anyways, just let me turn around."

"This isn't the most maneuverable of all cars is it?"

"Alright Dad, I'll pick you up at 9."
"Alright Micheal, have a great day."

"Woah! Nice wheels, your dad get them for you?"
"Yep. Hey, I'm just heading out to dinner with Justine, is there anything going on tonight?"
"Some of the rich kids are going for a race at around 1 AM, it's a closed road so you won't have problems with the police. The entry fee is $500 though, but the prize is pretty big if you get into the top 4."
"Hmm, send me the location, I'll probably come."
"Roger, I'll see you later."

"What was that about?"
"Tom wants me to come for a race."
"Are the police coming along like the last time?"
"No, it's legal this time, I'll probably go, we still have plenty of time until the race."

Chapter 3: First Race

"Micheal!"
"Ready to kick 🤬 and take names?"
"You know it, just follow me until we get to the spot."

"Hey Guys."
"Hey Tom, who's the friend?"
"Micheal? He just got a new ride and he's ready to take some of that cash off of your hands."
"We'll see about that, don't forget that I have the poll position today."

I might have dumped the clutch a bit at the start...

It was then I realized that Tom had slowed down because his brakes were out.

"OW!"
"Sorry Micheal."

In my semi-successful drifting attempt (with the help of Tom), I had managed to pass the Jag.

"Siri, Play Queen"
"Playing songs by Queen"
Stereo: "Another one Bites the dust, and another one's gone and another one's gone"

"OH 🤬!"

Well I only lost 2 places, could be worse. And I'm pretty sure that dent will pull out.

"Lets try this again."

As you can see, the second attempt was far more successful.
"This guy is persistent."

The Jag was next to go
"I can't believe it!
"You're gonna believe it whether you like it or not, you just got beat."

Despite my efforts, I only managed 3rd place, but it was more than enough to get the car fixed up and get the lady a nice gift.

"Siri, call Frank."
"Calling Frank."
"Who is this?"
"It's Michael, I just had a slight accident at a race, I'm gonna need a 2007 Ford Mustang front fender, left side."
"Alright then, I'll order the part, it should be here tomorrow night."
"Alright then, thanks man."

"Michael, that was some crazy driving out there."
"Well, you tapping my car didn't help the situation at all."
"Sorry man, I overheated the brakes."

"Anyways, here's your winnings."
Tom handed me a Cheque for $3,000
"Thanks, I'll see you tomorrow, I need to get some sleep."

I am looking for a few volunteers to help me with a future chapter of Racing After Midnight
When?: December 17th, 5 P.M. GMT (9 A.M. PST, 10 A.M. MST, 12 P.M. EST, 3 P.M. BRST)
What Do I need?: you will need; the Ability add me to your friend's list, Drive, follow orders, not crash, and your own car.
What Kind of car should I bring?: Essentially any road car around 450pp you want, no standard models as they're a pain to take pictures of. For obvious reasons you may not bring a Mustang in Performance White or a S2000 in Gran Prix White.
What's in it for me?: You'll be mentioned at the end of the chapter. Also, 1 person will receive a Honda S2000 To drive in the race as Tom, he/she will be allowed to keep the car afterwards.

No SFR, tires will be unlimited, and the track will probably be some hilly track I randomly choose in course maker.
