Wish we'd have same amount of RM cars like we used to in GT1 or GT2, there was alot of cars with Race Modifications.

This is what's so hard to understand. Where are all the cars we have now in RM form? Why they didn't include them is wrong. Then they could flaunt they car count even more.

From the pic - R34, Imprezza & RX7 are behind the R35...I hope those are RM and not DLC.

I don't agree with it either. But my point is out of all the cars we could RM in past games, why can't we RM them now? Except add a freaking wing?
Was it a size thing where it wouldn't fit on the disk, did they not think of it, or have enough time to import that car over? It's all assumptions.

And why not? Any RM has many more differences than the regional versions as Tuscany / Tiburon / Coupe or special versions like GT-R Midnight Purple.
In addition, Polyphony's prototypes Polyphony as FTO Super Touring Car and the NSX-R LM Edition, which can be comparable to racing modifications, have always counted as unique cars in GT3 and GT4.

99.9999999% of "stock" cars are not "tunable" and must, therefore, be "modified" if one desires to tune their ride. Unfortunately, modding and subsequently tuning can turn a great car to CRAP, both in sound and handling. Especially for those of us who can't tune. Some people have a knack for it. While others can't tune a radio.
Take the LFA. Great car with Sport Softs and nothing else. Gearing is far from the way Lexus has it IRL. Installing a tranny adds gear adjustments PLUS the hideous gear whine!!!

Well i was looking through the trailers for upcoming forza 4 and now feeling a little bit vexxed by the cars it has to offer over gt5, sure i`m still not convinced by fm4 being a better overall game than gt5 and i will always love the ps system, but you got to wonder why it has some awesome cars, like the moseler, 599 gto, all the m series bmws, konisegg and all cars being in "premium"
with the ones i saw sounding very nice.....
Just hope the spec 2 and dlc gives us something to rival it and stop me looking in the other garage and wishing why its not in mine.........

In my mind, GT1 was the last time a Gran Turismo game had more cars of the current year it was released than it didn't. Forza games have always had the better content - less amount but better ones.
GT5 has got to the stage where it's just car porn - a library of vehicles rather than obvious choices of stand-out cars of recent times.

RM cars will probably be in the Spec II update. With the paltry 17 that we have right now, PD has to be on crack if the decide to sell RM cars.
Now the race car pack I feel is the pay DLC down the line.
I really hope the 2009-2010 Super GT cars are included, maybe perhaps 2011 models too but I doubt it since they are still in season.
