You guys think this is bad? Wait for the Christmas rush... it's going to be like groundhog day every day.

SO true, and well put! I was thinking the exact same thing a couple days ago. When I read this I pictured Bill Murray with the groundhog in his lap, "Don't drive angry!" :dunce:

My brother is an M3 owner and nut, he said that Chrome line BMW is an actual car but with the "Chrome Line" graphics added i just can't remember what it's called. He to wished it didn't have the graphics on it.

Its called the "M3 GTS".. But it is not the same car..

M3 GTS - 450 hp, 4,4 l / 1460 kg

M3 Chromeline - 439 hp, 4,0 l / 1625 kg

M3 Coupe - 420 hp, 4,0 l / 1655 kg

Conclution, M3 Chromeline is a tuned M3 Coupe. A M3 GTS is something else.. Only thing i can think of that is similar is the orange paint.

We need a Race Mod for any year Mazda Miata (MX5) in the game. It is one of the most raced vehicles in the world and its Japanese so I can't see why it's not available...

Hi,

I dont have a car that can get the mod yet, but how much does it cost?

anywhere from around 110,000k for the honda to about 300,000 for the vette.

I think it's all in relation to the initial purchase price of the car.

Change the color just like you would any other car, and only the cars in the list two posts above can be race modded.

I just race modified my Challenger R/T and it won't allow me to tune the individual gear ratios. any body know why? i haven't messed around much with transmission tuning in this game yet so this is the first time i've experienced this problem.

in the help section it says that it isn't recommended for beginners, but i'm level 18... i don't know if that has anything to do with it or not.

anybody know?

Im thinking of buying the lexus and RM:ing it, will it spin easily after turns? Since my gallardo wont even if i slam the right pedal to floor, neither my charger, will this? Or should i get lotus and RM that? How will that handle? (Phew lots of questions.. :))

i haven't read this whole thread, so i don't know if this has come up. but does anyone find it funny that you cannot race mod a miata? it is one of my least favourite cars in the game, but spec miatas are huge in the racing world. more than likely because it's one of the cheapest, fun styles of racing to get into.

are you kidding me!!! They bring back a feature people have asked for ever since it vanished after GT2 (right?), and they limit it to 15!!!!!!!! cars out of +1000.... FIFTEEN!!! why bring it back at all!?

At LEAST you can put spoilers and other things on the rest.

I have been a GT fan since day one and just finally got a PS3 from a friend. I have been playing GT4 for years, but since getting ahold of a XBox 360 and Forza 3 I find it quite disappointing that they made us wait so long for GT5, and you can't even personalize your car with paint and graphics.
I see that you get paint when receiving a new car, but why must it be taken away when you paint with it?
I think it's retarded that out of 1000+ car, most of them you can't even change the rims on it. All you can do is put stupid over sized wings on them. Come on and bring out a new patch with more options.

1970 Challenger R/T has "RM" beside it. Why not make it into something as awesome as this?

This is my first post here. I have played GT4 alot-- but stopped a few years ago with just the final F1 races to complete. Not that GT5 is out, I bought a PS3 and the game and am playing.

I have RM a blue ZR1 and now the 70 Challenger. i am very dissapointed that there are no Fords to RM. I had a blue 71 Mach 1 in high school, a green 72 Mach in college, and a dark green Boss 351. Now have a door and dash (with serial numbers) and a title to a silver and black Boss 351. I intedn to rebody it so I can mod it without worrying about ruining the value of an original Boss. Which is also why I sold the original green Boss I had. I would have loved to see a racing Boss 302 or the 71 race modded ala 'Dark Horse Racing'.

Anyway, once you race mod the cars they are white and black, but if you paint them, the stickers and stripes all remain. I had heard that if you repainted a Cobra the stripes were gone, so I wanted to see what happened. So here is the 70 Challenger in Hemi Orange. But fully modded it is a dog compared to my 71 Mach. (this is all assuming I loaded the pictures on my flash drive correctly and they come through here.)

Its RIDICULOUS!
1000 cars and only FIFTEEN have race mods?? i mean it cant be so hard for them to make at leas 50 or 100 cars with race mods!
just antoher note (i love GT5 its a great game) but does anyone else agree that the game felt kinda unfinished?
only 200 "good" cars
only 15 of those have race mods
and not enough events. good game but ithink it needs lots of expansion packs or something :/
