I just can’t get into these. Although, I’ve never been a mega Lancia fan and have very little interest in road cars so that makes sense haha

I’m also a massive fan of unlikely rally cars and sports cars on the stages.

If someone would tell me that a Rolls-Royce raced a rally, I would laugh eternally.
It´s not because the car is ugly, it´s probably because the names "Rolls-Royce" and "Rally" usually don´t come together.
With a good team working on the car I think it has potential.

Apparently it was the product of a bet haha. If I remember right, it had Range Rover running gear underneath though!

You may not know that M-Sport ran a fleet of rally-modded S60s as recce cars from the mid-00s until they sold them all in 2018/19.

Always felt like a lot of interesting machines came out of rallycross or hillclimb rather than the WRC.

I love these, they come up for sale every so often too. The guys at MST who make the 'new' Ford Escort Mk1 and Mk2s have one at their warehouse. There's a great group on Facebook dedicated to photos of rally recce and test cars actually, check it out.

"recce & test cars 1980s - present"? I came across it earlier in the year, that's how I found out about the S60s! I do like a liveryless race car, and the recce cars are pretty much that.

That’s the one. The kind of content I live for haha. It’s weird actually, I hardly used Facebook for years, but since getting involved in rallying for real, I use it all the time cause they’re all old haha

Let’s have some R-GT cars today. A tragic waste of opportunity, this class could have been great were it not basically confined to tarmac and strangled by expensive regulations.
