Rare UCD Cars?

I am stilling checking the Used car dealer daily for the M-Benz C9 group C race car.... I am saving all my money for that. That cat meant a lot to me... I saw one racing in person when I was a kid, it changed my life....
 
back when I first started the game, I saw the old GT4 skyline pace car with the light bar, twice, thing is, me being level 5 at the time I didn't have the money to buy it :P
 
I had the hardest time finding a Panoz Esperante GTR-1 Race Car '98 (I wanted to get a faster American car to compete in the American Championship), but I finally found one.

Now, hopefully I'll get faster lap times with this one rather than the the Ford GT LM Race Car Spec II.

As far as being a rare UCD car.. this was my rarest find BY FAR. I found the FGT (before the online dealership) much faster than this one.

Note: Nah.. seems like the Ford GT is still better (for me) on the Indy track. Ah well, lol.

I've only afforded the Renault 5 Maxi Turbo when it showed up... almost 1 million for the car... was not waiting for it, but i'm a fan of that car :)

All I can say for sure is the Evo rally cars are as rare as they come, I've seen two FGT's, 3 Escudos but only one of each Evo rally car.

I've had a few of the newer Evo Rally cars come through, mainly the one with the wing at the bottom of the back window. Evo IX? Or Evo VIII? Not sure. Got my hands on an Evo VI and maybe if one appears might pick up an Evo IV. Also have seen plenty of Spykers come through as well, not to mention about 5 Sauber C9s, 2 R92CP and an R89. But I wasn't looking for those cars and at the time I didn't have the credits for them either. So, I do believe it may indeed be more of, "I'm paying attention to find this set of cars, so I'm not entirely paying attention to other gems in my UCD." Looks mostly random though, But I'm beginning to think that while the cars maybe random a rarity or commonality value is given to them to change it up a bit. Not sure what it's based on though.
 
Since I've had the game from day 1 I've been checking the used car dealership after every 3-5 races I do.

Eventually, almost all cars are repeated, the only ones on this thread I haven't seen twice is the Alfa 155 DTM car, Nissan 240 old skool 1980's rally car, the old skool Mazda RX7 drift car and a 1990 Corvette ZR1 ''king of the hill''.

There are definately 2 EVO rally cars, one is a prototype (I think) where the rear spoiler is brought forward and it goes across the middle of the rear window, the other is an actual rally car, I think it was a VI.

Quite a few cars I have only seen twice though, I'm not sure if it's the same for everybody.

I think there is some kind of system whereby certain cars are made rarer and other cars are more common. If you keep checking the used car dealership there is definately a pattern emerging, there are cars you see alot, some you see every now and then and others you rarely see.

There's two versions of the 1980's 240, a road version and a rally version, I really liked the look of the road version, crazy wheelarch extensions!! I couldn't resist, I had to get it :)

There's also the 1970's 240 'Z' car sometimes in the used delearship..the one you've got..
 
The one that's eluded me so far has been the Lister Storm V12 race car. A-Spec level 25 and I haven't seen it once!:grumpy: It seems like I've seen every car BUT! The Storm was my favourite car from GT2 - I had a blast with it! Now, it just comes down to waiting...

To anyone who HAS seen one, did you remember the price? I'm currently trying to save up for a FGT and need to know how much this must-buy is going to set me back! (Currently at $4.1 mil)
 
Lister Storm is definately in used car dealership, I've seen it at least twice..

BUT, it's costs 1,900.000...

I was really tempted as I live very close to where the Lister Factory is, but I looked at the specs and the weight.......1400kgs..

That really put me off..

With me driving, combined weight would be 3 tonnnes...!!!!

NSX-R Prototype LM Road Car

Awesome car for the $$$$$. Snatched it up after I got the RM version from a expert series ticket for completion (kenwood race car). That car handles like a beast, 10,000RPM's too so that thing doesn't stop accelerating in the turns. I go online with that car and beat others with 650hp or less. I currently only added a mid turbo keeping it at 561hp. If you see it, buy it ASAP. You will not be sorry.

I've got 2 (one stock, one tuned), and I agree 100% - these cars are simply outstanding...

I think when the online racing starts hotting up, this will be one of the top cars.. It's so agile and the cornering speed is top notch, it murders all my other tuned road cars at grand valley full course..

I've only seen the following cars come up once and I check after every race or two since I got the game Nov. 23.

Thanks a ton! But wow, $1.9 mil.... I guess GT5 inflation strikes again!:) Either way, I'm sure I'll be buying and enjoying this wonderful machine at some point. I was just hoping the road-going version would make the cut as well...

But that's awesome how you live so close to the Lister factory... you are truly lucky, sir!:sly:
 
saw the speed 8 today but no money to buy :(
I missed out on the countach 25th anniv and ZZII as well cos I was broke then...hasn't shown up again so far :(
 
Hmmmm, Bentley Le Mans, it took a while to appear in Used Car Dealership, but I eventually got it..

One of my favourite cars... A bit expensive at 5,100,000 but I'm very glad it's in my collection..

LoL NOS Waster: Toyota GT-ONE ROAD CAR!!!? Does this car exists in GT5? Well if you saw it then prehaps yeah exists but isn't it the race car?

Well if I ever see a Road Car GT-ONE I will buy it right in the moment.

Rare cars that you cannot win:

Lambrghini Diablo Nomand Race Car (800K)
Most Le Mans Cars
Gran Turismo Formula Gran Turismo (4.8m)
Chaparral 2J (14.8m O.O)

These I have only found ONCE and are also car's that I need to buy, specialy the Formula GT and the Chaparral.

Ah also the Dodge Viper GTS-R Concept is VERY VERY RARE also only once I have seen it (Cost's almost 1m)

Hmm... staring at a GTS-R Concept right now... was saving up for an FGT but may snatch this up if it's this rare...
 
Just picked up the Mitsubishi Starion 4WD Rally Car '84. Cost around 1.700.000 with 1.628 km on it. 372hp after oil change. First time I've seen it and I'm level 34, seems pretty rare.

Also just got the Nomad Diablo with 0 km on it (from a ticket).
 
Rarest I've seen and I check religiously.

1- Nomad Diablo. Saw it but didn't buy it as I can't stand lamborghini's.

1- Viper GTS-R concept (1999?). I think it was almost a million credits.

1- Ford GT 2002. Actually the concept car for the Ford GT. Better P/W ratio than the 05 and 06 GT's. Costs 990,000 or so.

1- Ford GT LM (the heritage paint scheme). Think it was 2.4 million or so.
