It's one of my favorite cars in the game becaue it's close to what i drive, But I get smoked all the time when I race it in events because it doesn't handle in the game like you said!

Yeah I wasted 50 grand on it thinking it would be great, its a bmw, what to worry? But it straight SUCKED! All the BMWs and M-Bs in the game suck, but in real life theyre great!

8/10 I like how it looks, and good all around. Racing mod was hot...

Honda BEAT

Honda Beat

Pros:
Inexpensive, nimble, can squeeze thru traffic with ease if you have good steering control, high redline area, ability to race-mod, and also the Beat is sporty looking but...

Cons: Only 1 stage of each (NA and turbo) and at max, the Beat will only make 128 hp. Plenty of "dead" revs below 6,000 rpm...you'll need the racing gearbox to keep the Beat up in its narrow powerband unless you're doing the Honda Beat manufacturer's race. Mid-engine creates tricky handling, even before the engine is modified. Looks like it'll be good for a beginner, but even intermediate drivers may find the Beat too nervous at times, and the high cost of suspension, tires, limited-slip and other parts make the Beat a poor car to start the game with despite its low price. The Mazda AZ-1 is a much better buy than the Beat and it handles slightly better even with stock.

My vote: 34%

Next car: Plymouth GTX!

Plymouth GTX: 78/100

This is the granny grocery getter of the muscle car lot... with a Hemi! It has plenty of power, but the stock 3 speed transmission is a beast to get working. Hooking up a modern 5 speed will greatly improve acceleration and top end speed. It handles like the Bismarck, because it weighs as much as the Bismarck. You can try to beat the little super tuned hondas in the N/A race, but you may not succeed. It's just too heavy to really rip through the corners. Nice "novelty racer" in my opinion, though. Good to have in your garage. Can be tuned to 588 HP.

Man, I could swear I tried to do the NA races in a GTX a while back! Or maybe it was some other muscle car....hmmm. I know for a fact I was able to skool some RUFs and TVRs in the Euro Regionals in my GTX, and I was even pretending I only had a 4-speed, relying on that fat torque.

Anyways, I never drove this or won it, so I'm passing it on: BP Kraft Trueno

BP Kraft Apex Trueno: 85/100

An excelent handling car. This car has very good mid corner grip and handling. Turn in can be a bit tricky since it will understeer when braking. But once you get it into position, it will stick to the road even when using lowest downforce. Tuning needed for me would be lower front damper to reduce push throttle understeer and stiffer stabilizer to reduce car yawing during cornering.
The power is lower than the other JGTC car, but this still the most powerfull AE86 (Trueno/Levin) in GT2.
Like other JGTC car, it's normal tire has more grip than it's sport tire, so this car not supposed to be used as drifting car.

Next car: Volkswagen Golf GTI 1.8T

Alrite, VW Golf GTi 1.8T

Pros:
Front-end is grippy; as long as your braking is firm before corners, it will pull you thru with some precision with minimal understeer. 3 turbo stages + intercoolers will push the power near 400. Driven stock, the torque band is flat and power is smoothly delivered (this becomes more spiky with turbo upgrades). Race kit available in 2 styles & many colors. Uh...peak power is located up near the redline (but not past it) which makes the GTI great for manual or automatic drivers. The GTI can tackle over half the enduros and some rallies...

Cons: The back-end likes to get loose...body-sway oversteer can ruin the front's grippy nature; must be tamed even when the power is low. Why can't we have a 3-door GTi? Understeer happens unless you're experienced and brake early. A tad heavy. No 4-wheel drive version available (this might be a reflection of real-life, tho, I'm not sure). Acceleration comparable with many other 5-door hatches, but fails a bit against many Japanese FWD hatches.

I give 63 out of 100

Next car: Lexus IS

The old boxy thing?
95/100: Awesome. Good handling, good acceleration, decent top speed and lots of fun with throttle oversteer. A very good car to use for the 700+ BHP races, such as GT All Stars. And it looks decidedly silly, what with its rediculous little winglets and huge boxy body.
Next: Mitsubishi GTO VR-4 '92.

80/100. A nice car, with good looks, modifying potential and specs, but I never really thought it was too special...

Next up is the Mini Cooper Monte Carlo Rally car

((Toronado)),

I think that most of the Formula cars require a lot of downforce because of High Top speeds and big stabalizing issues without the spoilers, I like it because it's Unique!

(((Sakiale))),

it's really hard not to like any of the Old mini's, I used the Mini Ralley engine in my regular mini's:sly: I give it a 95/100!!!

Next,

Ford GT 90

It's got loads of power...240 mph easy (and beyond if you really push those settings) at the Test Course, but is still a challenge to drive. This is one car I wish had a little LESS power just to get better handling in races. I'd say it's for experienced drivers only. Looks unique, has all the parts (including downforce, FC suspension, FC transmission) but you can't set the brakes, which is a bummer in this tricky MR car. Also, it's got mad turbo lag once you're in 3rd gear or higher and under 4,000 rpms. Those who don't like it (lots) can sell it for lots of money

So i give it 7.5 out of 10 and the next car will be the Lancia Delta HF Integrale Colezione

The way this thread is supposed to work is:

1. Person A rates a car and gives an opinion on it.

2. Person A gets to name the next car for rating.

3. Person B comes along and rates the next car and says something about it.

So I named a car a few days ago: Lancia Delta HF Collezione, I realize it's not the most popular car in GT, but someone else should try it and drive it. Even if they think it's awful, he or she can come here and state an opinion: IT'S AWFUL! or it's great. Whatever. So someone try the Lancia and rate that one, is that cool?

This Italian Stallion is a fast little bugger. i always enjoyed it. Its fast, 4WD and light. This car was built for rally.

Next: Toyota Castrol TOM"S Supra

Toyota Castrol TOM'S Supra: 85/100

Among the fastest Supra which can easily beat fully tuned road car on track. No tuning required to drive this car fast. Has a really nice engine sound. I don't like it's color and I like it better if those huge wing removed.

Next car: Altezza 280T Tuned by Tom's

Renault Clio Sport v6

PROS
1. Sweet high-revving engine. Excellent acceleration and speed.

2. It's got cool fender flares & a unique look! :)

3. Great traction when the power is still low.

4. Great maneuverability. A challenging but rewarding car to race with.

5. Engine can be tweaked up about as far the rest of the car can stand. (3 turbo stages i think)

CONS
1. Even with the best tires, the Clio is a tough one to navigate...it's often trying to get sideways.

2. 5-speed only...later Clios had a 6.

4. High price.

17. Can get it in any color so long as it's silver-gray. :(

I rate it high despite the cons! 87 out of 100

Next car: TVR Griffith Blackpool

TVR Griffith Blackpool 60/100
I love Tvr's even though the handling took some getting used to but the Griffith isnt my favourite TVR (i like the cerbera better). Not really a big fan of Convertibles either.

Next Car
HKS R33 Drag

Next Car
HKS R33 Drag

It's a drag car. I hate it.

It has potential as a drag car (for some odd, unknown reason), but as far as circuit/road racing is concerned...understeer becomes a big issue. The vehicle is not really designed for corners. For the most part, every time I get one of the drag cars, I sell it for money. Since I haven't put much effort into tuning one, I don't think I have enough experience with it to make a "useful" review and rating. However...I'll say that I've set better 0-1000km times with the Speed 12 than the R33 Drag....
