u should put team black and yellow up there. Where not doing any coompititions yet but we have 9 people and are gunning for at least 12.

absolutely. they all have their own different personalities / characteristics when it comes to driving these cars so i thought why not and just name them. :dopey:
Cool, im not the only one giving names to cars, good to know :D

Hi there!

Started playing Gran Turismo since GT4, and now recently started drifting in GT5.

Can check out my n00b attempts HERE

Currently using DS3 and will upgrade to using a wheel very soon.

PSN ID: poyol22

Cheers!👍

Hey! I just got into driftin on GT5 a couple days ago. I have always loved tuners, so i figured I would try the driftin scene, and i have decided it is pretty sick. My favorite car to drift right now is my 89 Nissan 300zx. Anyways, i was wondering if anyone had any good advice? Thanks

Hi All,

I’m new to GTPlanet but not new to GT, I’ve played them all and love them. GT5 is fantastic, I don’t have a wheel yet but I’m planning on getting the G27. My fav cars to drift right now are the AE86, S15, BMW M3, Buick Special 62, Chaser and I’m trying to get a speed 12.

I’m a huge fan of drifting in the game and at my local track.

Would like to join a team, I will add some videos of me drifting soon.

Feel free to add me to the PSN - b0bstar1234.

Hope to see you online!

For anyone either just starting out or somone whos already got it down, add me on PSN and we can drift anytime. Im always looking to meet new like-minded people. 👍

Hey, I was wondering if you guys could help me out. I'm brand new to drifting and am having some trouble with it. I use a Driving Force Pro. I bought an efini RX7 type RZ (its what i could find in the UCD) and got a suspension/lsd setup from the settings thread. The only problem is that the settings were for a DS3, don't know if this is a big deal.

But my problem is basically every time i go into a corner i just do a complete 360. I started out on Autumn mini and I can't get the rear tires loose without the back end completely kicking around. What am I doing wrong? too much throttle? I don't really know the technique. Basically all ive been doing is a little scandanavian flick, countersteer, and give it throttle. I think ive only got one actual good turn after about half an hour. Anyone have any tips or suggestions?

I also have an Evo VII with 313hp, but I kinda feel like learning drifting with a 4wd car wouldn't teach me the best way.

Hi All,

I’m new to GTPlanet but not new to GT. I don’t have my wheel yet, as the post person (political Correctness) is taking their sweet time. My favourite cars to drift are the s14, RX7 FC, Sil80 and I am trying to get the setting that I like on my chaser. But its not quite there yet.

Would like to join a team or start my own still undecided

PSN - rwmjd007.

hope to see you on the track.

Keep on Sliding

Hey guys, I'm new to Gtplanet and fairly new to drifting in GT5 but I like to think that I've been a fast learner. I'm here to learn new techniques and see interesting drift setups that some of you better experienced GT5 players here use. I would love to have some kind of crew to hook up with so if any sort of crew would accept new members I would be honored to be a new recruit :P. I'm currently trying to find the right setup for my Mercedes-Benz McLaren SLR and I won't lie: it's kinda tough. Anyway I'm looking forward to all this and if anyone would like to drift in gang I would find that VERY motivating. Thanks guys.

that means.. you witnessed BOPNUTZ killin it in the room.

Killing it, seriously? This guy accused me of brakechecking, 4 times, when m tapping the brakes slightly for easier weight shifting. And i don't know about the difference FR to RR speed/gripwise, but i suggest people that wanna tandem keep out of his lobbies.

You can come battle me anytime if you really wanna sit here and talk trash. But wait, you brakechecked me 3* times, THEN you spun out and tried to call for contact lmfao..

BOPNUTZ = Most Hated, and I LOVE IT.

Hellooos!

Long-time GT-addict here whom has just recently gone sideways.

I have more cars than brains, but have finally decided to actually focus on just a few, namely the Silvia S15's (both RM'd and standard). I'd throw a RM'd '69 Camaro about too if only I could get it to behave

Greatest challenges so far? Frickin' DS3 controller, tuning and in particular transmissions :grumpy:

Anyways, see you out there :)
