Whats up guys.. pretty new to the GT series and I'd love to get into drifting more. Thing is.. i have no idea where to start. Any car suggestions, tunes, tires, ect.?

Currently I have a Mercedes C 63 AMG '08.

Hey this is PSN Id jonnyd218. i'm pretty new to the online drifting scene, but i have been drifting for awhile.I've owned and played every gt since the original gt I even bought a PS3 The day before GT5 came out and is still the only game i own on the PS3. i drift a whatever i can but currently i'm drifting a PINK on PINK '10 Lexus LFA ;-) so far its one of my favs. Hit me up looking for some real drifters
 
Hey guys, I'm Flippin, and I've been trying to drift since I got this game and can't figure out what to do. Right now I am using a Silvia R-Spec Aero w/ Racing Mods (Cant remember the HP) and Sports Hard tires. It might just be my technique (tail whip w/ minimal e-brake) or it might be the tuning of the trans, susp, and lsd. Or just the car I'm using. Not totally sure.
I use a controller, but will be getting a wheel at some point in time.

Hello! I'm currently a Nurburgring grip racer in GT5. I learned to drift in 'Live For Speed' for the pc,using a Logitec Momo wheel. I have a Driving Force GT now,and drifting with it has been an awful experience. But recently I'v given in and tried with the controller just to make sure I rememberd how to drift,which it seems I do. So I'm starting the process of making the wheel do what I can make the controller do,lol. I like to drift the 'old school,LiveForSpeed'way, so I usually do not swerve back and forth on straights,and prefer running interesting track reverse,lol. Anyone remember those days?? Happy Drifting!

Hello everyone!

I've just started trying to drift or at least powerslide through corners with the DS3 controller.
I own a capture card (Not HD) and also like to make video's and take pictures of events. I just started recording gameplay and am still tweaking the video settings.

Hey there, I'm the dragonthing, which is also conveniently my PSN. I'm not quite new to drifting, I used to play NFS Carbon quite a lot :grumpy: and I'm also female :scared:

So anyways, I'm the drifter that always gets kicked. I used to rock a Stagea 260RS Autech, and that was 4WD, which is bad. Now I drive either my matte purple X540 Chaser, or the bestest ever S13 Silvia with 185bhp - I'm too tidy to have much more power.

If you can tolerate a drifting noob who just wants to have some fun then feel free to add me on PSN, maybe even give me a few tips! 👍
