Hello all, like many other posts ive seen im not new to drifting as i have came from forza 3, loving GT. hope to met some people in game and have some fun drifting.

Hello, as you see my name is dorian, just got a fresh copy of GT 5 and i am loving it!
been a forza player for the last couple of years and my specialty is drifting
but i enjoy most types of races.

back in the day i used to play GT 3-4 on my PS2 so i know my way around the game
but i am hardly an expert.

if anyone feels like playing against a intermediate racer and a pretty good drifter i would love the challenge.

see ya sideways (:

I've been drifting since GT5 came out and even beforehand, with Forza 2.

I absolutely love the drifting in GT5 far better than Forza 4. Getting more speed and angle on comfort soft tires as opposed to cars on sports in Forza (I know, rough comparison) feels good. :)

My PSN is O9KRattlehead.

I like your picture and good to have you

I just recently started drifting in GT5. I've been improving but I always fail on a lot of the turns with elevation changes. I hope I can get some helpful drifting tips here, I'd really like to start drifting with ease.

Whats up guys, not so new to drifting just about everything in my life revolves around this amazing sport. Ive been drifting in real life since I was 16 and game drifting before that. Needless to say the experiance has always been a blast. I have managed to form a team within gt5 (Inital Slide Drift Team) however we are still a young team only about 2 months old just now making it onto gt planet. Looking foward to meeting everyone and getting into the swing of things. See you guys on the track. -Initial Slide Founder

Hey, I just got back into gt5 and took up drifting in the game. I'm not very good but if you want to play together just add me :D (tell me that you're from gt planet.)
My PSN is LBJE.

Hello everyone im not a noob or not a pro in drifting so i want to imrpove myself in one of those teams add me Umt07 :)

Well,

I'm new to gran turismo in general, I'm a drifter on xbl but since my xbox broke down I finally bought gt5..

Alot of people know me on the forza forums so if someone up here knows me from there please add me cause I'm in need of having some people to drift with from the gtplanet forums.

I'm Dutch, I've been drifting for about 2 years online now and after my holiday at Thailand I'll get my licence.
Atm my dad and me own a Porsche 944 which will be given to me when I'll get my licence so that'll also be a project car.

I used to have a wheel but it broke down and since that moment I've been one of the better controller drifters and I used to be the only controller drifter on SCS hahha.

Well.. If someone up here wants to drift with me and help me out with tuning and drifting here in general, then let me know :)

Hey there. New to drifting but not to GT. Thought that instead of just making everything lap time based I would come over here and see a new side of the cars.

Hope to read on here and not make a fool of myself!

Send me a pm if you want to drift or race. (PSN same as here)

Hey everyone,

I'm not new to GT or even racing games (been playing since the late '80s; first one I played was Pole Position at Pizza Hut in San Bernardino  ). Not necessarily new to drifting but I know my technique is sorely lacking - I'm getting it down but still nowhere close to what you experienced drifters can do.

That said, my PSN username is ozyran and I'd love to join you for a slide sometime!

My vehicles of choice are the '79 Nissan Bluebird so I can hone technique, the '02 FD, and the '66 Cobra when I'm feeling really obnoxious.

Whats up guys , I´m Alex and I create this count in September , but I didn´t post anything. I´m a lover of JDM , HellaFlush and American cars.
I drift in all car games what I ´ve , and I think I do it very well.
A long time ago , I was the best drifter of Spain , but I stopped to play GT5 and start to play CoD. A very bad act.
But now I´m back and I´m better than before!
Sorry for my bad English , I´m Spanish:)

Hello my name is Rezz and I am a member of Prodigy Drift Team! I am new to drifting on Gran Turismo, but I am an accomplished drift from Forza Motorsport (no flaming please! ^^). I look forward to drifting with many of you, if not, all of you in the future!

Best regards,
Rezz :)

I need help to learn to drift on my g27.. There is too much to read here in these threads, and not all helpful.. Pls pm a setup for supra 3.0 as mine isn't working! Help Pro drifters out there..

I am new to drifting. I spin out 1 out of 30 times with the Nissan 350z. But whenever i use a different car, such as the 300zx, i cant keep it in the drift the car just tries to get itself going straight instead of sideways. Can someone help me?

Watttuuup guys! RICE-FREAK here!

Here's a video of me drifting 3 laps at Grand Valley with a Dodge Challenger.

Hey everyone, WhiteShadw here.. I'm not new to drifting, I've spent since launch polishing my skills in GT5. Other than that I've been trying to drift in other PC simulators such as GTR 2. I've also tried NFS Shift & Shift 2, which was incredibly crappy and sensitive in the beginning.. (Drifting in race mode) but later on I got pretty darn good at that too.. :D I'll see you people online! :)

dude your from michigan? what part?

Apologies for the thread in the main part, i did not see this stickied;

Hi,

I have been drifting on Forza since the release of FM3 and was very active on the game and Drifting Lounge in Forzamotorsport.net.
I have recently traded in my Xbox, and purchased a PS3 with GT5, naturally :P.

I was quite experienced with tandeming and battling (if thats how it's done around here) on FM, but a bit rusty as I'm still getting used to the feel of the cars and physics of GT5. An hour long session on Suzuka D1 with a few guys had me a bit more up to scratch.

I am from Australia, so would like to find a bunch of Aussies (mainly because of lag issues), to drift with, and hopefully join a team.

My PSN is Couchyy.

Thanks for reading .

Hey, new to PS3, GT5 (well, not new, probably 3 months or so) and new to GTPlanet. I come from drifting on Forza and the 360, but decided since I have regular access to a PS3 as well, I got GT5 and haven't looked back. I started doing local events this year in a 92 240sx, but have been actively into cars for the better part of 10 years. I work at what is best described as a legal 'chop shop.' We have clients that purchase salvage cars and send them to us for dismantling of useful parts and front and back cuts. This is just a job until I go up to Great Lakes for Naval Basic Training as an E2 Engineman. Hope to be here a while!

I'm new to drifting. Have plenty of drift tuned cars. Tried to join a couple of crews got denied from all of them.
I'm just looking to learn how to drift well and tune my own cars.
My psn is chargersRock18. I posted in the FA thread for myself a couple days ago as well.

Hello i started drifting in GT 3 month ago and still learning a bunch of things every day while practicing offline (time trial, not for points :sly:). I try to go into the lobbies from time to time, but i'm far from the skills i see from other ppl over there. So i keep drifting offline to refine my tunes and skills and to learn the tracks which are common online.

I finally found my favorite cars to drift and want to stay with it. Hope i can push those cars to my personal limit and become a better drifter soon.

My cars:

Nissan:
Sylvia K's AERO (S14) '93, 180 SX Type X '96, Skyline HT 2000 Turbo RS (R30) '83, Fairlady Z 300ZX (Z31) '83, 240 ZG (HS30) '71

Mazda:
RX 7 GT-X (FC) '90

Toyota:
MR 2 1600 G-Limited Super Charger '86

If you see me on track online, please bear with me. I'm not on top of my learning curve. :D

Regards
Markus

Hey this is deuxphayze, just lookin to burn up some virtual asphalt and find a challenge. Decided that this was a better way to find one than arbitrarily searching for one in the lobby. My abilities may impress you not only in freestyle drift, but also contemporary racing. My racing theory is highly developed and im always trying to add new pieces, so beat me and teach me something new! Interested in organized events and possible team 'tryouts' if necessary to enter such a thing. Let me know whats goin on.
Lookin forward to seeing some of you out on the track, hopefully on a semi-consistent basis.

Hi, im new to gtplanet, and semi new to drifting, Still working on learning the basics of it. My cars of choice are my 92 RX-7, and my '12 toyota gt 86. Here are some pics of me drifting.
