Hi all, very new to drifting but giving it ago for each of the seasonals to test myself and hopefully improve! I see the top scores far exceed gold, but I'm happy if I can get bronze (yes that new!) though I'm ok golding the dirt / snow events currently.
Attempted the Fuji drift event last night in my fully tuned DB9 and already made huge strides in the 30 minutes or so, just shy of silver. Will be looking for some more acceptable drift cars in the next week or so and trying to improve more and more of course. Recommendations for cars would be handy, especially for such a beginner!
BeowulfHowdy,
Loving the whole sideways driving. For real life the closest I have come is getting my suburban, trucks, four wheelers, and three wheeler sideways in the mud. Anyways I am new to the GT series and community and have to say quite a great gaming and racing community. Add me on PSN if you like to drift custom tracks getting sick and tired of tsukuba and suzuka. Have to say I dont know much about drifting which more than likely shows in my car choice
Viper GTS '99 973BHP
ZR1 850BHP
GT-R 500 Stealth Model
Callaway C12
Shelby Cobra 623BHP
Cerbera Speed 12(i know its "cheap")
Ford GT LM Spec II
Lastly and best of all the Midget
BTW the only tires I use are CH is this a purist's choice or a noob's choice?
BMWM52012I would like to get into drifting, and have a few noob questions. could you use the g37, the countach, or the pagani zonda to drift? what tires are appropriate for drifting, and what effect does tire selection have on your drifting?
Antw0nHey- I'm Antw0n.
I'm no stranger to drift but I'm pretty bad at it (that's why I'm here)
I use a DS3 but I'll have a wheel soon enough.
My favorite cars for drifting are the Shuichi Shigeno 86 and my FC.
Hoping to pick up an S13 soon.
Here's hoping I can get better.
