Hi there people, I'm just your average tuner, good at drifting but definitely not an elite drifter. I love JDM and UK cars.
Not bad at designing cars either.
If you do nothing but drive on your Ps3 then feel free to add me.

Hey Everybody!

I am BadRasta NL (Call of Duty Veteran) Got tired of the crappy shooting servers and it's community.. So I though lets play GT5 for awhile.. Like back in GT3 and GT4 I was a Drifter..

So I though racing is fun but Sideways is the way I (we) like.
So I started Drifting again.. I don't have a favorite car ATM but I use a few..

BMW M3 Coupe '07
VW Golf VI R '10
Nissan Silvia S15 '02

Shelby GT350R '65

Hi all, very new to drifting but giving it ago for each of the seasonals to test myself and hopefully improve! I see the top scores far exceed gold, but I'm happy if I can get bronze (yes that new!) though I'm ok golding the dirt / snow events currently.

Attempted the Fuji drift event last night in my fully tuned DB9 and already made huge strides in the 30 minutes or so, just shy of silver. Will be looking for some more acceptable drift cars in the next week or so and trying to improve more and more of course. Recommendations for cars would be handy, especially for such a beginner!

Heyo! Really stoked on the drifting community on this site. I've been playing GT since the original, but didn't really started drifting until a few months ago. I think I'm gettin the hang of it though (with controller...easy mode for me lol). Just started doing full laps of Tsukuba and A-Ring mini on CH's. I'm in love with JDM drifters, especially the classic ones. But I'll drift anything that goes sideways.

Hey there everyone.
I'm new in the World of Drifting. I started yesterday and i probably won't stop ever again ;)

At the moment i'm driving my precius BMW M3 CLS '03 and i'm loving it. Also i have a Beetle but that thing needs a better set-up for now.

Hope to drift with any of ya' sooner or later.

Im not new to drifting but i thought i'd pop in here to find some good drifters to add to my friends list, im sick of Tsukuba drifters using Sorts hards.
I can help with set ups, im not the best but my set ups work for me and i hope they work for you. See yall soon.

Hey, I'm RBW.

I'm not really a new drifter, because I've been drifting on my PSP for years. But, it's kind of different on the PS3 :P.

Well, add me. PSN: RBWeinstein

P.S: I use the Skyline Pace car to drift, it works pretty good.

Howdy,

Loving the whole sideways driving. For real life the closest I have come is getting my suburban, trucks, four wheelers, and three wheeler sideways in the mud. Anyways I am new to the GT series and community and have to say quite a great gaming and racing community. Add me on PSN if you like to drift custom tracks getting sick and tired of tsukuba and suzuka. Have to say I dont know much about drifting which more than likely shows in my car choice

Viper GTS '99 973BHP
ZR1 850BHP
GT-R 500 Stealth Model
Callaway C12
Shelby Cobra 623BHP
Cerbera Speed 12(i know its "cheap")
Ford GT LM Spec II
Lastly and best of all the Midget

BTW the only tires I use are CH is this a purist's choice or a noob's choice?

Exactly 2 weeks after starting to trial drifting, I'm done with it. Got slightly further switching to the 370Z but trying to get anything out of comfort tyres angers me.

sups guys im new to the drifting community i been drifting for a week now and im getting the hang of it....

as of right now i have a z34 ( 370z) as my drifter but i would like to see if any of you guys have a good set up for it cuz mine is kinda hard it spins out to much if you guys dont mind pm me a good set up..

Am not new to gt series but new here and i see theres a lot of good people here so i decided to join! My first experience with drifting was in gt1 when with a corvete a wondered if it was possible to slide thru the esses in the highspeed ring, remember the high banking s corners? Well there! Then later i found out it was called drifting and since then i love it! P.s. i was introduced to love cars by gt not by the fast and the furious movie just sayin, and i been playing gt since i was 13 or 14

Ch are good drift tires dont matter your level of expertice but try the underpowered cars to up your technique like the silvia or anything n that range then work up on power it helped me alot

Im looking to get into the drifting scene, i play for fun and would like to meet others who love this game as much as i do, i also have cars and drivers for use online aswell.

I would like to get into drifting, and have a few noob questions. could you use the g37, the countach, or the pagani zonda to drift? what tires are appropriate for drifting, and what effect does tire selection have on your drifting?

You can drift any car no matter the layout (ff, fr, mr, awd) just practice a lot and dont rely on setups thats an excuse for poor technique, if you got time youtube the drift bible by the drift king keichi all those techniques work flawlessly on gt5. Yes you can use the g37 the clutch its an important part of drifting. Tire sellection its critical for drifting try the comfort hard first thats the most typical setup but if you get good enough mixing tires is also possible. Tuning its also not necessary any car WITH a decent amount of power can drift but first start with a fr layout and about 250 hp and comfort hards and try the diferent techniques until you get a rythm. Hope its any help drifting its fun!

Hey- I'm Antw0n.
I'm no stranger to drift but I'm pretty bad at it (that's why I'm here)

I use a DS3 but I'll have a wheel soon enough.

My favorite cars for drifting are the Shuichi Shigeno 86 and my FC.
Hoping to pick up an S13 soon.

Here's hoping I can get better.
