No, I just find comfort tyres extremely boring to drive on. You have to brake so early and take corners so slowly on them that I struggle to have even a fraction of the amount of fun that I could have driving a car with sports or racing tyres.

Anyway, off topic. Back to nominations please! :gtpflag:

My first ever nomination:

1970 Monteverdi Hai 450
1970-monteverdi-hai-450-ss-prototype-front-three-quarters.jpg

Stats:
Production: 1970 (only 2 built)
Style: mid-engine, two-door sports car
Engine: mid-mounted Chrysler 426 HEMI (7 liters), 450 hp, 490 pound/feet of torque.
Transmission: ZF 5 speed transaxle
Layout: Mid-engine, RWD

Swiss supercar with HEMI heart that was a comercial failure due to it's massive price tag of $27k in 1970. Only 2 built, with other 2 built in the 1990s by Monteverdi out of spare parts. Designed by Trevor Fiore.

Anyway, on topic.

@White & Nerdy, you think you forgot to change my current option to the Fairlady Z that I suggested.

OK, it's because you provided very little information. I've so far been too lazy to dig around and figure out exactly which Z you're nominating. Guess I thought I'd just figure it out when your nomination came up.

You should cut off nomniations again for a while. Let that backlog clean out a bit.

Does it have to be that specific? I was doing the 69-77 Fairlady Z which was the same chassis. If you need it to be more specific or need more information, I can do that. Just ask.

I hinted at it before: @White & Nerdy - put a standardized nomination layout up, and request others follow it. We have some simple rules in the Photomode Comps, like a max size for preview images, and anything that doesn't comply is simply ignored once the deadline passes. If people don't care enough to submit properly, they don't care enough to see it polled, IMO.

Leave a template in the OP. Problem solved.

I agree, have some specs, weight, dimensions and maybe a description for it. Refer to my nomination of the Alfa Sprint GTA, I think that is a good template. I follow that for all nominations.

For the love of Jeebus, I cannot believe the Citroen DS hasn't been put in the icebox it belongs!!! So, I won't nominate it. I'll nominate the Citroen DS Maximus Coolio Rex Prime:

Citroën DS 21 Decapotable 1968. Yeah, bro. There is such a thing.
Granted, it's a custom job, but you know the french. Technically, even the Renault Espace was a custom job! It was built by coach-builder Henri Chapron. His firm, imaginatively named "Chapron", built several variations of the Godess, (goDeSS, geddit?), chief among which is this one: the Decapotable. Which I imagine is french for "convertible" or, at the very least, "spyder". Yes, it was sort of mass-produced, it's more than a "one-off", it runs and it's awesome. I'll just leave some pictures, some links and the specs. The car speaks for itself. This is the best test of who gets the Cool Wall and who doesn't.

Engine: 139 BHP, 2175 cc overhead-valve four-cylinder engine with Weber two-barrel carburrettor.
Transmission: Four-speed semi-automatic.
Suspension: Front and rear independent adjustable self-leveling suspension
Brakes:Hydraulic front disc and rear drum brakes.

There's one for sale as you can see here and here. Price is unimportant. If you get any more cool than this, you'd be frozen dead. Simple as that.

@White & Nerdy Please, let me know if you see any issue with the nomination to fix it as soon as I can 👍.

Looks like the Miura's bubble-butt teenage sister

Probably won't get my next nomination up this week. Just too busy, plus going on vacation.

Likely going to be another WTF nomination like the rocket car.

I have a Hot Wheels version of that car that I got more than 10 years.
I had the opportunity to see it in the Ferrari museum in Maranello (the pictures are the ones I took) and I have to say that it is one of the most beautiful Ferraris ever made.
