Alright, so I'm going to declare this thread as the official place to discuss the rules of the Cool Wall. That it mind, I'm going to open up discussion to the allowing of modified vehicles as separate entries on the Cool Wall. Please state your opinion on the idea and why you feel this way.

For me personally, I'm for it as long as it has been modified enough to seem different from the stock car.

NOTE: My personal opinion won't affect the decision more than anyone elses. I intend to get everyone's opinion before making as big a decision as this. There may be a thread with a poll in it about this issue at a later date.

I'm against it.

Too much ground for abuse, and it opens the doors for even more slightly different versions of Mustangs. Did I mention the potential for abuse:

This is the template everyone should follow for making your opinion in these types of discussions. Thank you @Roger the Horse for setting a good example.

Honestly, I feel the other problem is that if a car is sufficiently different from the car it's based on to be considered a different car, then surely it'd be allowed as it'd be considered a coachbuilt anyway.

There's also the matter of Rufs and Alpinas etc. (Cars that are legally considered to be products of a different manufacturer, but to the untrained eye are no different to the vehicles upon which they were originally based.)

Well Rufs are considered production cars, rather than tuner or modified cars right? I'm not sure about Alpina though, I've never really known if they were considered modified or not.

I think on the context in question he's referring to one offs rather than cars from dedicated tuning companies, which are already allowed anyway.

As far as I'm aware, whether or not cars from dedicated tuning companies are allowed or disallowed so far has depended on whether that car is legally considered to be a modified vehicle or a vehicle produced by said company. Hence why the Ruf Yellowbird was allowed recently but a Saleen(?) Mustang was disallowed a while back.

I think we should ban concepts. Except the Devel, of course, it can stay, but all the rest should be removed.

I would say we should make race cars a separate cool wall because of all the "Seriously Uncool because Racecar" votes that screw it up, but since the cars have already been polled it would be too late.

1933 Dymaxion Car
dymaxion-car-at-salon-prive-1.jpg

Body Style: 4(?)-Door... Sedan Concept?
Engine: 3.6L Ford Flathead V8
Power Output: 85 hp
Transmission: Ford 3-speed transmission
Drivetrain: Rear Engine, Front Wheel Drive!
Additional Information: Project abandoned after it was involved in a accident at the 1933 World Fair, where it rolled over, killing the driver and seriously injuring two passengers. It also has a very, very tight turning radius, despite being 20 feet long, thanks to it's rear wheel steering. Out of the 3 made, only 1 exist, and 1 more was made to honor the car in 2010.

EDIT: Maybe I should have read through first, if you guys are banning concept cars..
Nah, keep it, don't know where banning concept cars came from. The only rule change that has been proposed by myself (The one with the power to change the rules) is allowing modified vehicles. Also, I've found a source that says that this car has a 1933 Ford Sedan transmission, please edit your post with the specs of that transmission that are required for a Cool Wall Queue spot, and then it will be liked and added to the queue

Having a separate cool wall for race cars really won't stop people voting seriously uncool, since it's still a race car being voted on it's coolness.

Also, one more against adding modified cars to the cool wall. Also @Jahgee1124 , you misspelled Panamera in the OP. ;)

You're specs are incorrect, the last engine should be a 429ci 4V V-8 with 375hp (CJ-R)

Really? I never knew that.

All I know is that there was a Ram Air version of the 428 Cobra Jet, and a non Ram Air version. I didn't think the 429 Cobra Jet was available in Mustangs until 71.
