Why should it matter on what cars are nominated? Regardless of how many of a specific type of car are nominated, if it doesn't match the one seen before, then it still should be considered for nomination.

It's hard to explain. If you followed the cool wall, it would be easier to understand.

Can I try again? I didn't find this one in the results or the queue.

2014-present Chevrolet Corvette Z06
2015-chevrolet-corvette-z06-photo-646966-s-986x603.jpg

Body style:
2-door coupe/targa or convertible
Engine: 6.2L OHV supercharged V8
Power: 650 hp
Torque: 650 lb-ft
Weight: 1617 kg
Transmission: 7-speed manual, 8-speed automatic
Drivetrain: Front-engine, rear wheel drive
Other info: The first Corvette Z06 to be offered as a convertible in regular production (The C6 427 convertible had Z06 hardware on a regular Corvette chassis, and I think one of the C2 Z06s was sold as a convertible), the first to offer an automatic transmission, and the first with a removable roof panel on the coupe, just like lesser Corvettes. Previous Z06s were manual only fixed roof coupes. Per Car and Driver's testing, the automatic coupe can reach 60 in 3 seconds flat. Not bad for a rear drive.

I realize the Stingray has already been polled, but the Z06 hasn't been, and I think it's different enough.

Special Features
  • Retractable door-handle flaps
  • Single front wiper blade
  • Steering wheel with a single vertical and a single horizontal spoke
  • Pistol-grip shifter
  • an ECU for engine and transmission management (common on current vehicles)
  • Steering wheel with both tilt and reach/depth adjustment (common on current vehicles)
  • Instrument cluster that tilted with the steering wheel
Furthermore, some models were equipped with additional features:
  • Digital instrument cluster that tilted with the steering wheel
  • Headlight Washers (seen on various luxury cars of the last decade)
  • Trip computer with range/fuel management facilities (common on current vehicles)
  • Pneumatic suspension with height control (common on some current vehicles, supercars and purpose built race cars)
  • Push-button four-wheel drive (later changed to all-wheel drive)
  • Hill holder brake system, prevented rolling on hills in the manual transmission version.

Was originally going to nominate the XT6 but I found out that one of the coolest features of the XT, the ultra rad gauges, wasn't a feature on it. So, changed it to the normal XT. There wasn't much of a visual difference anyway. The 30hp increase probably would have swayed votes for the 'power output that no one knows about defines car coolness' crowd perhaps but I doubt with a car like this the votes would of been any different anyway.

This car is the, except for the XT6, the hardest car I have ever had to get decent pictures of. The reason there is only two pictures of the rear is because those are the only two decent ones I could find. The XT6 was even worse, only one actual picture of the rear and it was of a shoddy example.

These also had an awesome video advertisement:

"A road test conducted by Road & Track yielded a 0-60 time of 4.6 seconds and a quarter mile of 13.2 seconds at 104.1 miles per hour (167.5 km/h). Such numbers made the SRT-8 Grand Cherokee the fastest accelerating vehicle within the SRT8 lineup, second only to the Dodge Viper SRT10 among all SRT vehicles. There is no electronic speed governor employed, leaving the top speed rev-limited (revving to redline in top gear) to 170 mph (270 km/h). It also has a 60-0 mph braking distance of approximately 125 feet"

The Mazda RX-3 (or Savanna) is the rotary powered variation of Mazda's Grand Familia model. Mazda sold the RX-3 in coupe, sedan and station wagon models, but the most RX-3s sold was in the coupe form. The RX-3 coupe gave the most influence on the design of the succeeding RX-7.

1990-1992 Lotus Carlton/Omega

Power Output: 377 hp
Torque: 419 lb-ft
Weight: 1633 kg

Additional Information: Lotus Carlton is Lotus tuned version of a Vauxhall Carlton/Opel Omega. Also the steering and the suspension were tuned by Lotus. The Lotus version can be distinguished from a standard Carlton/Omega by small Lotus badges, bodykit, vents on the bonnet and a rear spoiler. It was only available in very dark green. Only 950 were made before the production was discontinued, due to low sales.

Additional Information: There were built 500 units of this portuguese microcar. For some one of our best attempts of building a car at some sort. Only very few survive to this date. Wow Alvaro, that was quick. Guess that you wanted to know how well would the Sado do on GTP's Cool Wall, eh? Well, it'll be a first; the very first Portuguese car to be polled on the Wall.

Also, don't forget to quote me on that "Daihatsu engine" bit, ok? (It was me who told you about that on another thread, so pay attention to that). ;)

Aston Martin Cygnet

aston-martin-cygnet.jpg

Production:
January 2011-September 2013
Body Style: 3-door hatchback
Drivetrain: Front-engine, front-wheel drive
Engine: 1.3 liter Toyota 1NR-FE Duel VVT-i inline-4
Transmission: 6-speed manual, CVT
Power: 97 HP
Torque: 92 lb-ft
Weight: 988 KG (2178 LB)
The Cygnet was created in part for Aston Martin to be complied with the European Union's fleet emissions regulations set in 2012. Production of the mini-Aston ended after only two years due to poor sales. The poor sales of the Cygnet was pointed to the car's price tag, which was nearly 3-times more than the car it was based from....the Toyota iQ.

Added a few sentences to rule #2:
Do not nominate any of the exact same vehicles that have already been polled. I am not responsible for accidental repollings of cars. It is the nominator's job to make sure that their car has not been polled yet. I will not check the queue or results for cars that have already been polled.

I also know quite a bit about Sados. I am absolutely obcessed about them. I didn't forgot, but I also knew that little fact and done the reaseach it can be found easily in the interwebs, but I'll do it anyway. In fact:

This was taken by me back in June 4 2014 in my hometown. This one is a later generation as you can see it by the presence of the side windows behind the doors.

1991 Nissan Figaro
View attachment 288697

Engine: 1.0L turbocharged inline-4
Body style: 2-door convertible
Power: 75 BHP @ 6,000 RPM
Torque: 78 lb/ft @ 4,440 RPM
Transmission: 3-speed automatic
Drivetrain: Front engined, front wheel drive
Weight: 810 Kg/1,790 lbs
Additional information: Mechanically based on the K10-chassis Nissan March/Micra. Potential buyers had to enter a lottery draw to have the chance to buy one, with 8,000 being built. However, demand became so high that another 12,000 were made. Only came in 4 colours, each signifying the different seasons. Nissan is not branded anywhere on the car minus mechanical components, so it won't shatter the illusion of it being a classic car. Famous owners include Eric Clapton and Princess Eugenie of York, among others.

Body Style:

2 door coupe.
Engine: 764cc Two Stroke.
Power: 25hp
Torque: 51 lb-ft.
Weight: 805kg.
Transmission: 3 speed manual.
Drivetrain: Transverse front engined front wheel drive.
Additional Information: Saab manufactured 1,246 cars in 1950 – all of them green. The cost of production was critical to Saab at the time and only 17% of the cost of the 92 was from imported materials. Hence the Henry Ford principle of any colour you like as long as it’s green in Saab’s case! It has been said that the reason that the first Saabs were available in this colour only was that they had a surplus of green paint left over from their wartime aircraft production
