Additional Information: The first production Rolls Royce of the BMW era and is currently RR's flagship model. The body is made of aluminium and the entire car is built to each customer's specification at the Rolls Royce plant in Goodwood, West Sussex. Customers are able to choose from 44,000 exterior colours and specify any interior colour. Instead of a tachometer it has a "Power Reserve Dial" showing how much power is not being used. The car automatically brakes to walking pace if one of the rear "Coach Doors" remain open while driving and an electronic lock prevents the doors from opening accidentally. The "Spirit of Ecstasy" has an automatic retraction system that retracts to prevent theft and protect pedestrians. Many special editions have been built. BMW originally wanted to use a 9.0L V16 to make it the "Ultimate Luxury Car" but decided on a 6.0L V12 as it was more economical. A V16 was used in the Phantom Coupe in the film "Johnny English Reborn" at the request of Rowan Atkinson. The car won the 2003 Top Gear Car Of The Year award.

Additional information: The high-performance version of the Renault/Dacia Sandero, sold in South America markets (eg. Brazil) under the Renault badge. It is also the very first car developed by Renault Sport that has received feedback from the South American branches of Renault itself, having been thoroughly tested with over 120.000 kms covered during testing. The engine is taken from the Flex version of the Dacia Duster, although it has been reworked with a new ECU, software remapping and a pressure injection raise to 4.2 bar. Additional Information: This radical concept car was made for the Design Los Angeles conference at the 2010 Los Angeles Auto Show.

The car was designed in a plant nursery, with two seeds being the make-up for the car, one for the interior and one for the exterior, which produces an ultra-light "BioFibre," with the car's curb weight being about 875.5 pounds. The wheels are also made of four seeds, with one seed for each wheel. The Biome runs on a fuel called BioNectar4534, which is stored not in a tank, but in the BioFibre.

Mercedes-Benz claims that the Biome also produces its own oxygen, like live plants. The Biome also fully grows like almost all natural organisms and is also biodegradeable.

The car also gained notorioity when it appeared in Asphalt 8: Airborne in an update in summer 2014.​

While I do allow concept cars, this 2010 concept has next to no specifications (except for a supposed weight figure, which you missed) and the inability to move under its own power outside of a video game. It's a completely static full-scale mock-up of an idea with no inner-workings. So strictly speaking, it isn't a car.

If you want to swap the nomination with something which runs, whether that's another concept or a production vehicle, I can let you do so. 👍

Additional Information: In mid 1995 Toyota introduced the AE111 chassis Corolla, available in Corolla Levin and Sprinter Trueno styles, they were essentially the same car with only very minor body differences. The Corolla Levin/Trueno was offered in a sports model with the 4AGE 20 valve engine, a 1,600cc engine with 5 valves per cylinder, variable valve timing and individual throttle bodies. Essentially Toyota's answer to Honda's VTEC engines, the 4AGE sends an impressive 121kW (165hp) to the front wheels from a 1,600cc non turbo engine via extremely efficient heads and lofty rpms.

The BZ-R was the top sports model of the range introduced in the mid-life update in 1997. Equipped with "Super Strut" suspension (essentially a hybrid between a MacPherson and multi-link setup), a limited-slip differential, and a 6-speed manual transmission, it made for a fun steer combined with the relatively light 1050kg kerb weight.​

Additional Info: The Nazca M12 (right) was the first concept car designed by Fabrizio Giugiaro, son of Giorgetto Giugiaro. The body dome of the car was a continual windshield held in place by a joining rollbar and the connecting structure. This allowed 360 degrees of visibility from within the car. Later in 1991, the M12 was slightly redesigned into the C2 (left). Alpina improved the engine, bringing up the power output. The front spoiler was lowered, three rear spoilers were added, and the track was widened to improve manuverability and stability. The spider variant (center) was introduced in 1993, which removed the side and rear windows. (Though, they could be quickly refitted in the event of bad weather.) Alpina further improved the engine and a six-speed gearbox replaced the five-speed.
