I heard that this is the 90's F1 layout.
I heard that this is the 90's F1 layout.
^2003-2004's one, if I recall correctly (hence why d'Azur is a 'standard track').![]()
Woo! only 700 more and I get 1 free internetYou just earned yourself 100 Gran Turismo points. 👍
700 Gran Turismo Points? Two serious points here:
1. Absolutely groundbreaking work by Mithster18. You should be getting paid for your acumen.
.
There's a blog I found a while ago where somebody walked around Monaco and took pictures of where the track goes.Looking at Tabac when watching F1 on the television, you don't realise it is just a section of armco that stops a car disappearing into the harbour.
Good stuff.👍
And you have to realize that the version in GT5 is a «make believe» version and its not licensed. Thats why its called Cote D'Azur and not Circuit de Monaco like it should be. So its only natural if it is not true to life. (wider and a few other diferences)

Link's coming up Error 400 for me sorry.
The GT3/GT4/GT5 version of the track (which, asScaffdaan pointed out, isn't really the track), is about 50-100% wider (and in some places even more than that) all the way around.
But because of whatScaffdaan said ringing true, that doesn't bother me so much as how incredibly ugly the track is in GT5, looking fundamentally the same as it did in GT3 whereas at least other tracks ported straight from GT4 were reskinned a bit.
