Isn't the 1968 Z/28 Convertible with the prototype ZL2 hood that was given to Pete Estes the rarest Camaro. It was the only Z28 convertible Made in the first generation, plus it had the prototype hood.
that Camaro isnt what the rarity is,its the one of a kind engine thats in itIsn't the 1968 Z/28 Convertible with the prototype ZL2 hood that was given to Pete Estes the rarest Camaro. It was the only Z28 convertible Made in the first generation, plus it had the prototype hood.

For 1969, yes. But that's not a Boss 302...That's a Boss 429. That is one motor/car you do not mess with, and it's funny because from the outside the car looks plain jane.ME!!!
Wait a minute, I thought they said, on Barret Jackson, that the scoop on the rear quarters was deleted with the Boss 302 option.
Ok, I read the sticker on the side wrong. Maybe I need to get my eyes checked...For 1969, yes. But that's not a Boss 302...That's a Boss 429. That is one motor/car you do not mess with, and it's funny because from the outside the car looks plain jane.

I dont know how they wedged that engine in that thing,A/C too!For 1969, yes. But that's not a Boss 302...That's a Boss 429. That is one motor/car you do not mess with, and it's funny because from the outside the car looks plain jane.
Which was ironic how it was standardI dont know how they wedged that engine in that thing,A/C too!
Very intimidating in what ever formWhich was ironic how it was standard
They did cut the shock towers out a bit and moved the battery to the truck. Not many people know this but there was 3 engine codes for the B429, S, T and A. S had forged Nascar internals, T had all that removed and was a peppier version of an A code with mild emissions, and the A code was a full blown emissions pile of garbage. I believe all 1970's are A code cars.
Ain't that the truth lmao.Very intimidating in what ever form
We tend to run anywhere from 400-450 horsepower, 1250-1450kg.Building a car for these lobbies. What is the average power, weight for the street car class?
