Sign me up! I like the idea of this. Adds more realism to the game. I do have a question though. Can we change the horsepower so that the engine is like another? For example, would I be able to add enough horsepower to make the 327 in the C2 Vette into something like a 396 or are we sticking with the engine already in the car.
Yes.
Wait, do we have a tunable variant of the stock transmissions now?

You can tune the transmissions, but you can only use gear ratios of transmissions you could buy in real life. A lot of us are running factory transmission gears, but to input them, you need to buy a customizable transmission. This allowed you to input those gears as well as change your axle ratio. You'll get 5 gears, but you'll only be able to use 4 of them.

Also, if you don't use factory offered transmissions, and lets say you opt for something from Tremec, you'll need to pair the transmission you choose to the amount of torque the engine puts out. This makes it a bit tricky, but adds to the fun since you never quite know what the opponent has.

Not a problem. Let me know when you've got some cars set up for this, and I'll get a room going.

So, I'm trying to input the Muncie M21 Gear ratios into my Camaro Z28s 5 speed and I can't seem to get the last (4th) gear to fit in the area of ratios it gives me. How are you supposed to do this?

Yup. What I have been doing is flipping the transmission. Ill max the final gear out and then bring the top speed down to where all the ratios will go in, and then bring final back down to your axle gear ratio.

I'm ready when you are! My cars are all set up.

EDIT: Can't come on anymore today. Sorry. I'll let you know when I'm back online.

OP update includes

3 Mopar transmissions
8 GM transmissions
1 Borg-Warner/Tremec transmission

I'm looking to get several more in there from Tremec and GM. Ford also needs an update.

Still on the to-do list:

Muncie M20, M21/M22, Tremec T-5, New Process 435, Getrag 260

Don't forget MOPAR night tomorrow at 8pm EST.

It just going to be a fun cruise and drag lobby no real competitions. Mopars happen to be the featured car.

I need to tune up my Charger for MOPAR Night, I just got it for getting a certain amount of stars or something, but I think i'll leave it stock.

Sounds good I will add you to the OP. hope we have a nice turnout tonight.

Sounds interesting... Saw the room, care if I join?

I'm not there at the moment, I ended that lobby. Someone else took it over.

However, there will be a MOPAR featured room up tonight at 9pm. You are more than welcome to join.
Thanks Slashfan, hopefully I can do good tonight!

Should I keep the stock 4 speed or change it for a new transmission?
Stock 4 speed will be ok, any of the MOPAR transmissions will work.

Has anyone else noticed the aero kit for the 70 R/T does not change anything?
