I would like to start drag racing in GT6, and I like the replica-style car choices. I'll join if a room is made, but for now I'm fiddling with my cars and launch ratios a bit. Not having a speed test kinda sucks.

I liked, although I'm in my own little testing room now, it would help if I could start by raciing with *shudder*... people.

If I can get at least 3-4 other people to come, then I'll open it.

Alright, room will be up momentarily. I'll have the number here in a minute.

Room up!!

I'll have to see if I can get on in a bit, work with my ls1 camaro after the Nebraska game is over. My psn is the same as my username

I forget who said they are a Ford fan, but here's the Mustang I had when I was in the Navy. PO put 4.10's in it but not enough loc-tite and/ or didn't torque the ring gear bolts enough and half of them came out the other half snapped

Had a lot of fun the short time I was there, even though my headset wouldn't work and I couldn't seem to get a good launch. However, I think I managed 1 win in my GNX and those of you who saw my El Camino I think will agree that it does great burnouts lol.

Thanks for the room earlier slash! Had fun, will do again another time.
Chevy Vs. Ford gets interesting by the way! Come and check it out everybody!

Hey guys I found your room tonight. I was in the Blue 02' Viper GTS. And looking at the thread my viper was defiantly unfair I was using a none-original custom gear ratio. But if your curious about my specs I was using the viper mostly stock with the racing exhaust, racing suspension with springs soft as possible in the rear. Max ride height rear. My HP was at room max 453 but weight was 1445kg with a 200kg ballast in the rear. I was topping out at 122 mph in the 1/4 mile.

I was running the '63 C2 Corvette fitted with an 435hp & 550ft-lbs L88 427 Tripower to resemble the '67 model Vette. Then I got a '69 Z28 to resemble a Yenko Camaro and ran a ZL1 for 435hp & lower weight. Both ran the M22 4-spd transmission. Had some good runs, even beat a few newer cars.

All good, there will be more rooms for sure.

Definitely, and no problem. They do get very interesting, that's for sure. There was a lot of good racing going on today.

Yeah it was a bit too fast haha.

Yeah the Camaro was running and beat an all stock, brand new C7 on several occasions. That car was seriously underestimated. I was surprised at how my 1969 L71 427 TP Corvette did as well, despite the weight issue. Next time I'll have money and get issues sorted out.

All in all, great set of rooms today, minus the lag. 9 hours of non-stop racing was awesome.

Also, watch out for my El Camino Farm Truck. I got the specs, and they are wild, just wish I knew the transmission. 5.13 gears, 837hp with stage 2 nitrous out of a 502 cube Chebby :D

Sorry I just left last night. I got tired and just decided to shut off the system right there. Then, of course, I couldn't sleep so I found out there were new seasonals.

It's time to get technical on Mopar transmission ratios, because I need more options!!
