Most of the time Slash restricts the room to a maximum of sports soft for realistic "performance" tires. Aside from that, I'd like to race you sometime in my '69 ZL1 Camaro. I've got the M22 close ratio, running 435hp & 460ft-lbs, slightly lighter than you for running the aluminum block. Me and Slash have had a lot of fun running in these, and my mock-'69 GTO Judge was surprising as well. I've found the best trans so far is the M22 for GM, it has a tight enough ratio to get a good launch and not have a huge amount of shift lag.

Ok i thought i saw somewhere that you could run slicks in the back im fine with sports all around. We deffinitely should race some time hit me up. psn: iSWIMGUD

You can run slick in the higher end class but most of us run sports tires.

Anyone up for a room? I updated the crap out of a lot of cars that should run similar to the ZL1 Camaro if not slightly quicker. Horsepower has been destricted to 500 for the heavier cars.

If anyone can find the ratios for the Xtrac 427D transmission, I would really appreciate the help. I have looked several times, but maybe someone will look somewhere I haven't yet.

1st – 3.00, 2nd – 2.07, 3rd – 1.59, 4th – 1.30, 5th – 1.10, 6th – 1.00

For use in the C6 Corvette

Wow, that was fast. I kept trying to get the ones from the GT3-R viper, and apparently those are being kept under wraps. I'd imagine that the ratios might be a bit different, but who knows. God forbid Xtrac publishes info on their website for "potential buyers"

I actually found them in a PDF somewhere. Xtrac had no information on their website but I managed to find them on Google. Wasn't a ton of information on it anywhere though.

Anyone up for a room? It is Ford night :)

Sure thing, I'll add you to the OP.

Hey guys any hits on Ford transmissions?

Don't forget Chevy night is Saturday!

Gotcha. I'm down for a lobby if anyone wants to throw one together. Been driving boosted cars a lot, would be nice to do some budget builds. @jtqmopar

I'm sorry about this, life got in the way. I hate when that happens.

I will reschedule Chevy night for sometime this week.

I may be on later. If there's enough interest I'll open a room.

Edit:

I am considering opening up an engine swap class. I'd like to keep this to mainly imports with American engines but anything goes as long as it meets general requirements. I'm thinking about doing a 351C Miata and LSX Spitfire.
