Somewhat unrealistic. Know whats realistic for S2K swap? A LS1. Lol One of the most common S2k Swaps.

Anything is possible. I watched a thread on ModdedMustangs about a guy who put an Acura body on a Mustang Cobra Chassis, and that was a lot of work, but it was cool to see the project through.

The Mustegra shows that anything is technically possible!

Yeah you can do it. Should run close to some of the cars I have.
ok sweet so as far as power upgrades goes we can pretty much buy everything except for engine and superchargers right? and NO weight so that means no windows or carbon hood?

because the Baldwin Motion Phase III makes 500hp nd the limit slash has is 450 i think?
The '69 ZL1 has 500 horsepower but was rated at 430 because of insurance reasons. The first gen Z28s are the same way. They were rated at 298 horsepower but actually has 375+.

I usually, if I'm "swapping engines" to a bigger engine, I will add anything so I can get as close as possible to the right amount of torque. Then I'll use the power limiter and limit it to the right amount of power.

Yeah I try to get the torque right first but sometimes that's not possible.

That said, is anyone up for a room? I really want to run my V8 Miata against some stuff. I tuned up a Triumph Spitfire as well but the torque wouldn't come up high enough to call it a V8 swap though. I believe I also did a 1978 280Z with a small block and something else as well.

I've got others I want to toy with as well. We'll see what happens.

We can get the COPO/Yenko ZL1 to perfect specs. You can get the torque to exacty 460 and detune the horsepower slightly to 435 without much dampening on the graph. Paired with a Rockcrusher trans and 4.11 gears, it's pretty much one of the fastest cars we run, but we also take weight off so it equals the real cars weight. I believe me and Shake have identical cars at 1,287kg. It's 200kg lighter than the ZL1 Corvette, which in this league, get's its ass handed to it by the Camaro. I've seen videos on YouTube where this is the case as well.

My 1973 Camaro RS also runs equal with the ZL1 Camaro.

actually the ZL1 had been dyno'd at 575hp not 500

Still couldn't keep up with a 427 SOHC

Anyways, I'll be updating the OP with some new transmissions momentarily. Chevy night has been moved to this Wednesday.

___________

The OP has been edited to include:

18 New Transmissions:

Allison Transmissions Added: 1 New Transmission
Borg-Warner: 11 New Ratios Added
Saginaw Transmissions Added: 4 Transmissions
ZF Friedrichshafen AG Transmissions Added: 2 Transmissions

Still on the to-do list: New Process NP435 Transmission Ratios

Slash, would a 575 horsepower monster be allowed? I'd like to test your theory of the 427 SOHC being better than a ZL1.:mischievous:
427 SOHC dual quad makes 656 horsepower stock. The single carb made 618. Pretty well agreed on numbers as well as factory rated.

Fastest time ever recorded on an authentic Thunderbolt was 8.55. That was on modern slicks. On factory polyglass tires it ran 11.6.
lmao the 600hp rating was in racing trim not stock lmao NO engine can produce more that 600hp with the factory exuahst manifolds and an 8.55 that was in 1/8 mile right?

Where hand built race engine offered by ford. Never came stock in a car, and had to be special ordered to get put into a car. So its technically not a stock production engine. Where sold at Fords part counter (So you had to order it). NHRA banned it from the stock class because it was technically not a stock motor.

The L88 was a stock production car. Not a motor you could buy and put into any car. And was not a special order.

The 600 rating was the rating for the stock crate motor.

Wrong. There was 100 production units built before the engine was sold over the counter.

Anyone up for a room tonight? Big day coming Saturday, better start getting your cars ready :D

There is one sitting in the Muscle car museum in Seiverville Tn. Awesome, but had a lot of room for improvement suspension wise.
Yeah, the suspensions on the First Gen Camaros was complete crap. On a car with a small block, it was perfect. But with the Big Blocks, the suspension was like jelly.
