Nice going, i'll also be on around 8 tonight.

Totally interested in this. Wish I'd have seen it earlier.

Personally I can't wait. Look out for us in the race series forum in the next week, sign up thread is on it's way 👍

Don't worry about your times MC. This is the first Season and there are going to be all kinds of drivers involved, from the seriously fast, to those who (like myself) will be doing everything to stay on track.

Oh, and as #2 Driver to Joe, Knelly Bows Down ;)

I was serious about adding the 5000 point deduction ;) I fit into the second category, we had a practice race at Laguna and I was struggling to keep the thing in a straight line :ouch: I'm pinning all of my hopes on the oval races.

Why stop at 5000 points when we can make it 9001? :sly:

We all struggled at those Laguna Seca races Tom. We were better and cleaner running on our own than with other cars around us, which is why I wish it was possible to race the AI with online physics so I could become better with other cars around.

I'm free from now, so I'll be in my lounge at Indy using up my fuel.

Definitely, doubt it'll be a main feature planned for spec 2 though 👎 ok mate, just finishing up a seasonal, i'll be 10 minutes.

It may be possible for them to add AI drivers to online races, like in F1 2011.

I suppose that wouldn't be too hard now you mention it, we can only hope :P i'm on my way.

I'm sure Knelly will agree that the results of my fuel tests at Tokyo, Indy Road, and Daytona road are...interesting. :sly:

Verrrrrrrry ;)

I hope to be on at some point tonight guys. Happy to do whatever, when I am.

Well, I finished my fuel testing. Laguna Seca may be a 2 stop race due to tyres.

Still have incompatibility with Cowboys, so I can't practice with him.

Send me a message when you're on Knelly and I'll get back in my lounge. I'll also update you with new target times to aim for, and the rest of my fuel testing results.

The final lot of testing for me will be tyre tests to find out the best point to change to the other compound in a race.

EDIT: I will say that I ran out of fuel on ONE road course, but not which one. :sly:

EDIT: My "greater judgement" says that me and knelly should receive double points from every race! :dopey:

Hmm possibly, your judgement is undoubtedly 'great' :P I'm gonna really have to think out my pit strategy, it's gonna be my only chance of good results at the road courses.

And I did mention about Berty only being able to do 8:00 - 9:30 didn't I? I don't think I've ever seen an IndyCar race where the safety car driver goes home 50 miles into a race leaving the field in total carnage in the event of a catastrophic wreck on turn 4 at Indy when somebody gets hit entering the pits causing a 16 car pile-up (My odds of this happening are 5 to 1 :sly:) ......so we'll have to arrange something ;)

Just fit it in around you guys as I am not actually racing.
At the moment I can do wednesday evening, tuesday 8-930pm and friday evening. Due to work and the fact that my wife (brown belt in Judo, Blue in Ju Jitsu and inside centre for local rugby team) will kick my butt if I am on GT5 too much.

I'm up for that. I get in at about 5:30 on Wednesdays so it should be fine 👍

EDIT: So is it same time?
