Rear-Wheel-Drive Non Racing Car Super Lap: Apricot Hill Raceway

I used the same NSX as for the Ascari TT back in Feb, detuned a bit. Not as fast as those GSX cars but a basic gold car and handles the esses up the hill nicely.

Stewy's tune got me into the 1:31's and now Crank's tune has me into the low'ish 1:30's, 1:30.236 to be exact for pos #82.

However my best ghost will still not load, only the best I get while racing in this session etc. Furthermore, Nowcontrol is in front of me but twice I have crossed the line ahead of him but I am still a couple of tenths behind him on my leaderboard. Must be his ghost line ( under my car and out of my line of sight ) is just in front as we cross. Next time I fire up I'll try and move away to the left a bit so as to see his ghost line at the finish.

I'm having the same problem with ghosts not loading. Both TT's.

I also noticed that a friends ghost was about 3 tenths slower than their leaderboard time! Might be what you are experiencing.

I don't think it is a problem our end. Hopefully it will right itself.

Everything was fine until I downloaded the last, update? or whatever it was, it was just quick one. But I'm glad to see I'm not the only one with these problems.

Ghosts load up in arcade mode ok for me, so, ghost file not corrupted.

I've been dealing with it too. The ghost problem did not start happening until after that latest ninja update.

The ghosts load fine for the GTA too. It's just affecting the seasonal portion of the game.

I had a blue line glitch a while back in the FXX @ Monza TT, A lap that had gone wrong on the exit of Lesmos where I spun out into the barriers, the line for that lap seemed to had gotten stuck on the server for the remainder of the TT and never ever showed any of my real PB lap lines. I watched it myself from a secondary account.

Sorry Dalone 4th in Australia. I just did a sub 1:30 1:29.981 to be exact #54. Great time though using controller and buttons And its not LisaNorm any more its AlienNorm

I actually think that the head of the ghost line represents the center of the car itself and not the nose/bumper, because if you use a ghost of someone on your friend list you can see that the name above the line seems sit inside the car at the center rather than at the front.

So if you are using bumper cam, it will appear as tho you are in front of a persons blue line when you are still perhaps, a few feet behind the actual nose of their car. I know a few feet does not amount to tenths on the clock so it could possibly be a glitch and you are still seeing an older PB lap line of mine.

I had the same problem with the ghost replay as well.
I couldn't load my best lap ghost nor could I load any of the top 10 ghosts.
This has only happened in the last couple of days.

Keep trying mate you will get there, which tune are you using?

Had another short go at this one this evening and improved to a 1'29.2 for 11th.

Still a load to come though as I'm only .2 down on the top place going in to the hairpin... then lose .8 to the line!!

Need to sort my line into the hairpin and and my entry to the left before the final chicane.

I'll post the full tune when I get time, but top line, I'm using full ballast at pos 0, wing at 20, stock suspension, with LSD at 10 10 20. There are marginal, but noticeable advantages to changes in power parts.

Oh, and as others have mentioned, ghosts are not working and ghost lines are not updating.

And it was my first completed lap using Stotty's LSD setting.

Now 3rd in OZ, 2nd using controller and 1st using buttons.

I was using Dirty Duck's and am now trying yours and Crank's. I'm losing most of my time at the hairpin at the bottom of the hill and the lefthander before the last esses. I did improve 0.5 last night and think more practice is what is needed. I'll try another nap this afternoon and see if that helps tonight.

lol. I'll give this a go at tuesday 17'th. right now I'm fully comitted of getting that 2:14 in the GT academy final round.
I'm not expecting a podium place though, as I'll have very little time fiddeling with the setup.

Having failed to gold with my Spitfire (so far ), I gave @Johnnypenso 's sublime Ferrari Dino a few laps for 1:38.261. This should easily get me into 1:37's and lower for better drivers. I just changed the Final Drive to 2.800.

This tune is a must try for classic fans, Ferrari lovers, and actually anyone who just enjoys the drive 👍.

if you got gold then yes any time is a good time.....i use controller left stick steer and triggers for accel and brake i also use auto so most of my times are a challenge...there are some good setups here that will get you lower....and find the right sensitivity for controller......Good Luck

Up to 1:30.219 and it only took 600 miles, 2 tune changes, 1 restored body rigidity and 73 red laps (yes I counted).
If only doing really long runs like that in GT Academy could improve my round 4 time..... if only.

I've not changed any of the setup whatsoever either so i'm thinking there's a setup bug. Anyway, i bettered my time to a 1:28:275

I totally agree with you on this bug I have done the same as you when you can not seem to get anywhere near my best time I quit the game and reload and then it is fine again and then I can better the time and I have notice this in other TTs as well but I do not make any setup changes so there is something going on and this only has happens on online TTs only. And I thought it was my driving but it is not or it maybe a weird bug or glitch online.

I spoke of having this same problem in the current Academy TT but everyone thought I was crazy. I guess now that a more respected member of the community has experienced this same problem it will be taken more seriously or given more thought.
