I cant get below 6.69 for mine but i get 4.5g acceleration

Ya I get over 4.0 G's too cuz I'm not using ballast. In missing about 30+ hp and my best run was 6.660

I was using ballast when I got my time. My transmission needs to be stretched way out more though.

Those pictures were for you to show how easy it is to use SRF... Me and him came to the conclusion that you can get the same G's just by doing a bit of suspension work with SRF on.

How about later today i will make a room and ghost for you guys. I don't know anyone in the dragging community. I haven't even drag raced on GT5 in a very very long time for reasons that i posted before. I think settling it this way will be the best way to solve this whole ordeal in a fare way. You guys can do best 2 out of 3 or best 3 out of 5. Would this make it better to you guys?

I think this a good and fare option. So there is no "you won because he's your friend and you know how he ghosts"

If you want to do it we will add each other on PSN and we will do it on SSRX 1/4 mile. And i will post winner on here. And so there's no other drama with it we can even make a replay and i will put it on YouTube so there will be valid proof.


And pretty much if neither or one party or the other doesn't want to do in a way like this i honestly think this thread should be closed. Otherwise this will just be going on forever for whatever pointless reason

I did and i think the answer is no seeing as you will always get arguements and excuses ("so and so jumped the start" "i missed a gear" "the wind was against me") i think this method is better as there can be no real discrepancies in the speeds of the cars

It's not just that, "who cares?" is the other point, not to mention you got guys on both sides of the worlds = huge difference in time zones... not worth the effort to plan a time where both sides of the world can be online at the one time to vs nisantos in an online game lol...

It's a good idea in one respect but still won't determine who has the quickest legit route x time. Reaction time and ping will also play a role.

But a good online shootout would give him credibility if he can have a couple close runs with the some of the best.

That's what i mean. This will be say best 3 out of 5. No excuses. If someone has a way better and consistent reaction time that means he is better than the other driver. If he jumps well just like real drag racing it gos to the other lane. And it's not all about times. It starts from the driver and him or her being able to get off the line faster than the other driver. And who has the faster car. If you guys could be on at the same time it would be a NO EXCUSES RUN.

Both parties need to agree to be online. I can be on Sunday or any day after tomorrow to set the room up. Once we all agree on a time I'll set the room up and you guys race and I'll ghost.

Just to let you know i used the e-brake when i drifted on the controller (now on wheel). I had my e-brake set as the right joystick down. And i could ride the e-brake and the light won't show but it is on. Reason for me setting the e-brake as the right joystick down is because it becomes exactly like a real car. So if the person is using the e-cheat and has this or a similar set up on their controller and is good at it well they can hide it very low. I feel like i may have started the fad of the e-cheat in drag. I had a friend that drag raced and drifted on GT5 and i was drifting and hosting in a open lobby and i gave a few people this tip for drifting. About a few weeks or a month later the famous "e-cheat" was a hit topic on the drag forms. And when i realized what the people were calling the e-cheat was and using it in drag racing i thought wow never saw that coming. I personally don't use it for drag racing because in all honesty it is highly unrealistic way to drag.

But if a few people want to see the race no problem. Like i have said both parties need to agree to do it. Let me know a time a date.
