Well we had a good run with andro, dusty, agro and me all close on track. I was planning on making a big charge last stint with fresher tires but my last set felt slower than the previous. Felt strange I should have just done 2 stops but dusty was smarter than I was.... Normally more pit stops is better in Gran Turismo but I guess not this time.... Something got messed up with my car or a glitch or something last stint, felt like I had comfort medium tires instead of soft. I think my chassis might have went maybe mid race. Need to start each race with a fresh car.

Damn I was hoping to get down into the 25s in the race but just couldn't find the time I think that track is cursed for me. I've always hated it, something about those hairpins that I loose precious time on.... Well good job to all those who beat me which was most.

So this was actually a somewhat decent race for me, I stuffed it at one point that cost me 4'th place, simply because of lack of concentration. but somewhere around lap 30 I started to really get the hang of it and put in concistent 1:25's wich felt nice, I even managed to pull away from Immortal, who tried to lap me, but I would have none of that!:P I also got alot better tyre deg once I started to get the hang of how to drive on this track. I'm still angry at myself for making that mistake tho, and I was sooo close to repairing it by overtaking @Dustybin at the very end, but it is seriously hard to overtake with these cars!:grumpy:

Also @GTP Ziggy , I'm sorry if I sounded grumpy or something, its only with good intentions. All I wanted to say is that the best thing you can do when being lapped is just to keep your line, and when the faster car approaches, just ease of the throttle and brake a little earlier and let them do the overtaking.:) if for some reason the car behind catches up to you mid-corner (like I did, twice) try to get out of the corner as fast as you can and let them by after the corner:)

@IMMORTALPILOT : towards the end, when you caught up to me and Dusty, I saw you just keeping your distance behind me, I was not sure if I was supposed to let you by or not, becase several laps went by and you never got any closer. it seemed like you where just sitting roughly 1 sec behind me and not gaining anything, after 3 laps I stopped and let you by because I thought maybe it was because the dirty air behind me made it impossibe to get closer. at what distance should I (and others) slow down to let you pass? only when you are right on our asses (like with dusty) or earlier (like I did)?

You were not grumpy at all. Your 100% right.

Yes mate like you have make is correct the dirty air is incredible high and its almost not possible to overtake on tracks like twin ring motegi on the distance you have wait is the best

I like sports soft tires for next season. More grip from tires, less dependency on aero. The dirty air has never been as strong as it is right now in GT as on this spec. Its nice being able to hold up the car behind but when your behind you dont feel the same way. Close racing should take priority I think. I'd like to test higher grip tires with this car and see, but I get the sense that it is better on race softs for sure. So the natural compromise is somewhere between.

I want Racing Softs, much better racing, you can follow closer and we're racing high end racing cars, so why do we put golf buggies tyres on them!

I think sport tyres is the best option, RS are way to grippy with this car, it takes away the skill with throttle control in slow corners. Therefore think SH & SM at the most, good balance. Also i dont think its good for the series to make drastic changes, going from CS to RS. But this is just my opinion :)

You made good points, on throttle control, it is an important skill but if this championship is about throttle control we should use the Lotus F1 full power, that is why I favour RS on this car, this car especially at showcase events like NurbNord and Suzuka, is about precision and we can drive much closer and take different lines into corners, so attacking is fun and that is where it gets extreme, Montegi was a great challenge, a tough race, but a parade for the spectators...

Perhaps we can do a few practice tests with it over the next few weeks, and evaluate where we should go for Season 2 with this car.... personally I'd love the Lotus F1 full power where throttle control and accuracy and everything makes it the most challenging car in game with tyre wear!

Personally i would love the FGT as you have to treat it perfectly in order to go fast :)

I think all cars used in championships should be maxed out and raced on the racing tiers. The more difficult a car is to drive the more fun it is. Matching game BHP to real life racing BHP is a bit poo.

I have not raced it but the fan car version of this car maxed out surely must be good? Fan cars don't dirty the air as much as normal cars?

If I had to pick a championship for fun racing. It would be Group C LMP cars maxed out to the slowest car and then bring the faster cars down to match it.

Oh and yeah, this is not asking for anything to be changed. Once a championship begins it should always stay the same unless everyone competing agrees. I meant for future championships.

It might be a close race. turns 13, 15 looks to be the only dirty air, areas, and maybe 6-7. I need some points after some lousy 7th place runs. Like they say on wheel of fortune, big money big money! The 2 tight corners after the start finish straight are opportunity for dive bombs and rear enders. Will have to be cautious there but this group as done it a few times now so we should be ok red bull brakes really well even without ABS.

I've beaten Chris, Evo and others here in preseason practices, but having said that I'll probably end up last!
