Now that the major PC problems are fixed. It's even better! After all this time I finally finish my first Forza (finished yesterday) and wow still amazing. I love it!

yes, it was around the 2nd upgrade of my 3rd festival, 350k fans when it unlocked for me.

I think the verdict is that the stutters are related to decrypting the game files, and it is most evident when you try to run above 30fps if you don't have enough CPU power.

I'm running the game off an SSD, with an i7 6700k+GTX970 combo at 1080p unlocked frame rates and the settings tuned (mostly ultra, a few high) to get close to 60fps. I'm getting almost no stutters, so apparently my CPU is overkill enough to get round the problem, and the GPU really isn't the issue.

I just started at Surfer's Paradise, and whoa, frame drops everywhere. I suspect it's the decryption you mentioned, but also the CPU.

The in-game club is live and active; you should be able to search for it. We're currently in the top 100 in the world!

I learned that putting rally suspension increases your steering lock a bit, and you can still lower the vehicle, so super helpful for drift builds.

Well, it's launch day and no videos from Turn 10. There goes my theory on the unlisted cars that were shown being launch dlc. They're either going to be used for the October dlc or some Forzathon challenges. I hope to unlock Forzathon soon, then I can start winning extra cars.

So I was walking around a local mall and saw a Microsoft store. Usually it looks like any other store but this time it was fit with green lights and the rooms were rather dim. I entered the store and it felt good. Then I spotted a room on my leftside that says "Forza Horizon 3 launch day" so I entered and proceed to walk. Through a path. The walls were covered with the games scenery. The ground was with road textures. Again it was covered all in neon pink, green and blue lights. I walked and ended up in a small room with a table full of some kind of special editions. Shirts of playground and turn 10, steelcases of the game, bunch of scale models of the cars in the game...etc. then I saw on my left a path going further so I walked a bit until i started to see people from young kids to teenage guys walking around and entered a room. It was filled with people and appearantly a press was held couple hours ago. There was a projected that displays the game on the right and then on the left there was couple sets with thrustmaster wheels and forza horizon 3 on. I got the chance to play it so I jump right into it and started playing. I was enjoying myself and that feeling of FFB was pretty. I and some other guys near tried to do co-ops and we did couple of races. It was all fun. The atmosphere was amazing, the background music were playing some of the game'a soundtracks and it's really good. I was talking with other people and making new friends.

And then suddenly I woke up at the class during the break time...🤬

Even my dreams became all about FH3..

You actually had me believing that actually all happened until i saw the bottom bit! I bet when you woke up in class you was devastated lol

Well, it's finally installed. I just wish we had the option to skip the cutscenes we saw in the demo, they seem to take forever for some reason.

Mind you, not as long as the 8 hours of work I've got in front of me before I can touch this thing again...

Got my tier 8 rewards, hopped in the NSX and headed out to Surfer's Paradise to unlock my 3rd site expansion, loving the game so far. Still hoping to see wildlife, but the only Kangaroos I've seen are from cut scenes so that wish is probably not happening.

I set up a 'Sprint' challenge and you can choose fave song, road everything it is awesome this game. These are similar to Driveclub so you can send them to friends etc

I just found out the special tyres and white writing and the black number plates are on the Special Edition Forza Horizon cars you win in a spin! Won the Focus RS!! cool..

No wonder I didn't know as I am also jinxed on these and only won small credit amounts (luckily VIP doubles it) and a few rubbish cars I won't use.

Otherwise this game gets better and better with Bass Arena, cockpit view, clear blue skies and my fave dirt road caning it down..Awesome

Same, I've not really been doing any actual races or events. Most of my time has been just driving around and buying cars with the credits I receive from prize spins.

I really enjoy the bucket list events though. They managed to include a song that fits the scene and the car right. Good stuff.

I'm at level 65 right now while one of my Drivatars, @Sutuki id over 207 already. In fact all of my 4 Drivatars are good to the point any new Drivatars I find are much lower and not worth getting.

Offtopic but just now I switched from playing my xbox on 60 inch smart TV to an old 2010 32 inch Sony Bravia and i'm not comfortable with it. I hope I could upgrade my TV soon.

Fired this up for an hour last night to get through all the demo events. VIP pass redeemed this afternoon and the Outback is now ready to be landscaped. How about starting off with GT-inspired Spider & Roadster blueprint event? Sounds good!
