Well, I finally did it; yesterday, I pulled the trigger on my plans to become a XBox owner and came home with a white 500GB S model. "Aren't you concerned about the small size of that hard drive?", you may ask. Well, I was thinking of buying a 1TB model, but one of the local branches of Media Markt sweetened the deal by adding none other than Horizon 3 to the already available Fifa 17 bundle.
And so, here I am, now part of virtual Australia. I've played through a fair bit of the game (up to level 10 if my memory doesn't fail me), and so far, the only thing that has truly upset me is the strange radio station glitch where the game won't allow you to switch stations manually without using drone mode. Well, there are the DJs who love to spoil Barn Finds, but that's an issue with an easy way of solving it. Everything else has been enjoyable, fun but most importantly, fresh. This is the type of game genre that could use more competition, because quite frankly there isn't enough. And with two DLC packs bought, I can also enjoy using quirky vehicles such as the HSV GTS-R and the Morgan 3-Wheeler, both of which have seen plenty of action in my hands already...
I shall leave you with my favorite picture taken so far in this vast virtual world;

Does anyone know when we recieve the cars from the ForzaRC? I did mostnof the time trials but still haven't seen any of the cars.

@RazorSharkz You should receive the cars via your in game messages. It's kinda wonky though. I'm new to this but I only got the NSX (1st week) even though I participated for the first 3 weeks. Unless i'm doing something wrong, like maybe I have to register for every week on the forza RC website? I dunno..

Unfortunately this expansion is "NOT" part of the main map, you'll have to use the "Travel Beacon" at the airport to get to "Blizzard Mountain"

Um, I have a comment about what I thought was the barn find in the expansion pack. I'm still not sure whether or not this vehicle is still a barn find, so I'll leave my comment in the spoilers:
Uh, I thought the International Scout was the barn find, but I was able to buy it in the autoshow like any other car.

It's about time that feature is offered! Now if only stock wheels could be shared amongst cars a la GT4, even just within the brands themselves!

Just bought Forza Horizon 3 Ultimate Edition. I really love it so far. Also a slight bit surprised my computer runs it at a fully stable 60fps.
One question I've had is that, Is this game too Easy? All the DLC cars are given to you for free, VIP wheelspins give you double credits, turning off all the "beginner" settings gives at least 30-50% boost. Its nice because I already have the C63 ❤, but it doesn't feel like there's a challenge. I barely finished the "introduction" phase of the game and my garage is already loaded! Luckily there's so much to do, but I wish there was a stronger challenge.

I suppose they're probably figuring the folks that purchase DLC are the minority of FH3 owners. People with the vanilla game therefore aren't really getting as many free cars. Ultimate owners definitely get a huge advantage, but even then, the more expensive cars in the game will elude you for quite some time (especially now that they've patched the M3 HE glitch).
Turn up the avatars to their highest difficulty, and run in the faster classes. That makes the game more difficult!

So am I correct in guessing that most of you bought the expansion?
I didn't even buy any of the DLC - they refused to acknowledge car issues, particularly sounds which got done wrong or messed up in some way or the other for several cars.
Anyway, to each customer their own.
