Isn't it obvious?

That tops my joke suggestion of an E34 518i haha.

If it's neither of those, then what other significant BMW is the game missing that people have continuously requested?

Well there's a lot of angry people regarding the Z3 M Coupe... but it's probably the i8 anyway.

Hear me out, but the second expansion could be New Zealand. Temperate forested mountainous region. Would be different to what we already got, especially if we get good mountain roads.
Warren does make a reference to Kiwiland early on in the game. It's a long shot, but here's hoping.
Maybe base it around Tauranga and the Bay of Plenty. It's got a mix of subtropical environments, mountains, and even some volcanic activity.

That would be sweet and to be fair, the icon on the Expansion Pass design is a compass with four directions.

It's hard to think of where else it could be. The main map is sort of a theme park of the entirety of mainland Oz, so the only place they could really go is Tasmania. But Tasmania is quite a bit like Victoria in terms of climate and geography. Maybe one of the Polynesian islands under Australian control like Christmas Island or the Cocos? But that'd be too much like Storm Island, I reckon.

GTP's recent news article on the subject quoted a source saying that EA loses control of the Porsche license in 2016.
A translation of an off-hand comment by a Porsche exec at at gaming convention isn't the same thing as an official announcement from either Porsche or EA. Autoblog looked into this comment but was unable to get anything official from either party. They did get this comment from a producer at Kunos Simulazioni, developers of Assetto Corsa. "He told us that the company was able to include Porsches in the game this year thanks to an amendment to the deal between Porsche and EA Games. The producer did not know for sure if the license deal between Porsche and EA had expired yet, but indicated that it may expire in 2017. We still have not heard from EA Games or Porsche regarding the deal."

So unfortunately, what little information we do have is thin and contradictory.

You're right that there has been no official statement, so it's true that we don't know for sure. However, I still believe EA won't have the rights in 2017. These rumors have been going for a while and continue to intensify, especially now that they quote a Porsche manager. Some other journalist unable to find a straight answer doesn't surprise me.

I'm in love with the expansion. Went back to the normal map earlier and flund myself missing the snow. I wish it was covered in snow haha. Went back pretty quickly. The car you get for becoming king of the mountain is sooo good in the snow.

Oh, I agree. The exclusivity deal is ending, and ending soon. The fact that no one is saying anything officially, however, makes me believe it's still in effect. The sooner it's over, the better for all of us.

I wonder if we'll ever hear anything other than what journalists are able to get out of both parties. It's hardly a public matter.

Hi all :) So yes, general chatter re FM3 :D

Roll on September say I, can't wait to tear up Oz

The trailer really floated my automotive boat
I love Holdens and HSV as I own one and need an Xbox one S and forza horizon 3 and forza 6. Still play forza 4 and horizon one and two on 360 . Sill me oh I'll get a PS4 for gran turismo (way back in 2014) so should have bought an Xbox one. Next year for sure . :(

Anyone else get that Gurkha yet? It's stupid fast in A class for a 5-to-7.5 ton military vehicle. I got it up to 167 earlier today.

Mid-post edit: Just ran it down the highway. It topped at 169 MPH, and I reckon it could go 175 on a slope.

Oh wow with that power and weight, I'm pretty sure if FH3 had realistic fuel gauges, it wouldn't last one lap of the Goliath.
I bet it wouldn't. It didn't even get up a small sand hill in a construction site when I parked on it.

I got it, fully upgraded the stock engine (gets to around 1000hp -adding turbos adds over 550hp- and over 1900 ft/lb of torque, insane!). You can swap to v8, v10, v12 so it could be technically "fast". I kept mine at maximum weight just so I could rampage vs drivatar and civilians :P but with it I should be able to top 190mph xD

Ah the Terradyne Gurkha.

Actually bought another to take to the top of A Class compared to my B Class Diesel version (which handles Blizzard Mountain quite well despite no snow tyres.)

My plan was originally going to involve the Viper V10, but that came up short on the PI index so I stepped up to the V12 instead. ;)

End result is a machine weighing 13,705Lbs and around the mid 1300hp mark as well. :D

With such a high revving engine in such a heavy machine, gearing has to be incredibly short to get it moving, but once it does and once you know how it's gonna handle, it can define your believes of the laws of physics.

That leaderboard is for the Apostle Beach Cross Country event in Byron Bay and at the time, got me inside the top 20 in the world.
