Your move @Sutuki ;)
I got notified of this one, too. That EB110 has a little too much power vs its handling if I'm honest. Either way, I'll take a stab at it.

The tunes we're using both rev bang at 300kmh, but the grip through the corners allows you to take most of them in 4th gear or higher.

Mine's got 800bhp and 1100kg or so, I suspect @Sutuki's is similar as we were dead even for most of the run.

I made a thread over at r/forza about post-release support in Forza games. I'd be interested to hear your guys opinion on this.

This model was the reason I stopped playing GTA V; it sucks the fun out of a game and turns it into an endless and futile grind. I enjoy the very generous in game currency of Forza and is one of the reasons why I'm absolutely addicted to playing it. It's also the same reason why the early GT games (especially GT2) were so fun. Each series or even an individual race had a prize car and gave some incentive to keep playing with feeling like it was redundant. If Forza does adapt this model, I will not purchase the next game.

To be fair, I made that comment because I saw your ghost tap the brakes at a few points where I was taking them flat-out.

I think the ghosts play up sometimes. If I was far behind @Sutuki I could see his car brake at corners where I was only lifting, but when we were neck-and-neck no brake lights showed up.

The EB110 handles really well, but much like other leaderboard cars, I really hate driving it.

:P
That's a Top 10, I doubt I can get that (a perfect run for me would be a 2:18.0 at best). Well done :)

Who's EB110 tune did you use? I was running HLR Moss' I believe and it was quite good.

I don't remember whose tune I used, but I downloaded R2JD2's tune and managed to shave another 3s~

Lots more power, speed and understeer

Thanks to ManteoMax for finding this.

From February, Dan Greenawalt responding to a question about future content for FH3:

"You know, we always keep our games active and alive. We want to engage the community, get people excited. Sometimes that means really taking a hard look at what we're delivering and listening to what the community says, and start to deliver cars that people have been asking for for years. And at times it means really surprising them with things that are unexpected, things they never saw before. And I feel in the last few years we've done a lot of that. We've had a Fallout 4 car, I don't think fans were expecting that. You can drive the Warthog in Forza Horizon 3. We've been able to do crossovers that brought new IPs into our game. Even the Fast and the Furious stuff in Forza Horizon 2, that was really cool. And I think it just brings new fans in and gets people thinking about racing as not just lap times, but cars, and fun."

Nothing really new there, simply stating what they've been up to, in Dan's typical PR-friendly fashion :)

To be fair, #Forzathon is one of the best things to happen to a Forza game in years. It draws people back every week and at some point something will "click" for a person to make them play every day (again). That happened for me when I kept coming back for #Forzathon and then got into Rivals once more.

Hopefully they start delivering on features at some point in the future as well, Forza Motorsport 7 is our next opportunity to have some more of what made Forza Motorsport 4 so special.

Cars and tracks I can always rely on Turn 10 to put out in a consistent fashion (which is what Dan's talking about here), so I never bother wishlisting those, but when it comes to features there are a few things a Forza game needs (or needs back) in order to take it from a 9/10 game to a 10/10.

I responded to @PJTierney last night in rivals. He beat my time at Snow Park Cross Country Circuit on Blizzard Mountain with a Rally Fighter. So I came back with a Bentley Bentayga. It took me 33 laps, but I finally bested him by about .8 seconds. That's one of the harder rivals races I've had in a long time.

The Rally Fighter's a beast in S1, especially on cross-country.

That layout's tricky, I have to rotate the car mid-air (by drifting up the jumps) to keep speed through the final turns.

I was noticing that, but ironically, that's what finally allowed me to get past you at the end. You rotate on the final jump just before the mild left-hander that leads to the finish line. It slows you down just enough that I can make up the difference by landing straight and then turning. As for the Bantayga, drop 1500 lbs of avoirdupois and add 200 hp, and suddenly the old girl can pick up her skirts and really run.

I have to say this game had a great Car Roster on release.

but thanks to Fotrzathon and a few Packs.. It looks even better now.

and we aren't done yet :)

Just hope most (If not all) make the cut to Forza 7 :)
Hope so. Only thing that's kind of messed up, are the barn finds. Haven't found the first two yet. Its not that, but the cars I need to find. Like the '65 Cooper. Why should it be a barn find, when I can buy a Fiat Dino, which is more rare than a Mini? Not that this is a major issue.

Then again, finding a '65 Cooper S, in a barn, in Australia, is pretty damn rare as is.

Uh, the '65 Cooper S isn't a barn find as you have to get it from the Skill Shop. :odd:

If you blow up the picture in the left corner it says "actual in game footage".

They put that in all their videos though.

I'm just doubting that they would be showing a new game to a group of people that may leak it before the official unveil. The next expansion pack would make more sense as everybody knows it's coming so it's not a massive deal if it gets leaked.

I'm gonna call fake on that unless we get some more evidence, anyone with time could've made a fake pic like that with a somewhat blurry camera.

It does seem interesting but I call it fake for now: there is no margin between the logo and the edge of the TV, giving off a very unprofessional look.

It came from /v/ so until I see anything else to the contrary, that is, as a wise man puts it: "Fake as ****"

Also I SERIOUSLY doubt that this is a FH3 expansion. We already know that the Porsche expansion is what is probably next in the pipe, and I would not be surprised if we see info start coming out in April for a tentative release in May.

Yeah I was talking to that person twitter, apparently it was up there at 3.00am (not sure what time zone) and then was taken down shortly after, only that photo was shown.

I'm definitely convinced it's fake (that's been the majority of the response on Neogaf) but why would someone create a fake leak for new Forza game and call it Forza "X", not Forza Motorsport 7? Still, I think it's fake.

Well, with Forza 7, it would be the tenth title in the Forza series as a whole, correct? Would be somewhat neat to see as a sort of legacy milestone, but other then that, yeah, this is pretty much bull.

Again, we know pretty much everything Playground is going to do with regards to FH3 with the DLC leak. We also know that generally, T10 like to reveal the mainline games at E3 for release in the holiday season.
