There may be different rules regarding "fair use" between the UK and US. James Bond, the character, the movies, the books, those are all under UK law. Wayne's World is under US law.

International law makes me cry.

Now that I think about it, mentioning James Bond or any of the movies is completely fair use. There is nothing about the Aston Martin DB-5 that requires sublicensing anything from the Ian Fleming estate. They licensed the car from Aston Martin, and mentioning the characters and movies is complete fine.

However, the name "Mirthmobile" and the graphic design on the Pacer from the Wayne's World movies is probably protected by trademarks by the studio that made the movie. So it makes sense they would simply avoid the trouble, use a different graphic design on the car, and just mention "that movie."

Clicking on them results in a marketplace error, so I cannot use or manage them in any way. What can I do to get rid of them?

I don't think there's anyway to get rid of them. Can't sell them or put them on the Auction House.

I don't think they will, since I've had a Huracan GT3 sitting in my garage for weeks and I still have no way of getting rid of it

I think I can't remove it as I don't have the Motorsport All Stars Pack, so the PO cars will most likely never be able to be removed, since it's there's no DLC to unlock them with, unless PG either remove them from everyone's garage (if that's even possible) or just give everyone access to them.

It was the Microsoft Change Racing GTD Huracan everyone got a few weeks ago.

Are you sure everyone got it? I don't even have a gift message for it.

If only the pre-order cars were hidden under the message tab. I truly dislike how the update has forced so many cars into the garage view to do do nothing but clutter the screen. For some reason I also got a Warthog and Duracell GTA Spano, but those two I could remove.

I think the PO cars and Warthog were added in an attempt by PG to just give everyone the Duracell Spanio.

No doubt that Forza is an expensive franchise to keep up with, but people who consent to the terms of purchase without reading the details... Almost infuriating how they project their own ignorance into Microsoft's fault.

It's only expensive because of the shocking amount of content that gets added post release! It's not like what you get is poor value, it's that there's so much of it. Don't wanna pay more? Fine, wait for the next forza then.

I'm not bothered by the way DLC is being done because the base game already has plenty of content. Which is why I don't understand people who impulsively buy the Ultimate edition and then complain after the car pass expires to say they were ripped off. If you're so concerned about getting your money's worth, then how hard is it to excercise self-control by buying the base game and waiting to see what additional content is offered first?

I only buy 1-2 games a year so forking out $7/month for content that will keep the game interesting isn't that big of a deal. Hell, I pay more than that just for the pleasure of not getting adds on Spotify.

the base game already has plenty of content.

Not to mention the good supply of cars that have been added through barn finds and Forzathon events. It's at the point where I may not even go for the ultimate edition of FM7 since the base carlist should be amazing from day 1.
