It is a little tricky to find it right now, You have to find the FH3+HW bundle then click on the Hot Wheels Expansion to get to it's own page to start the download.

There's no need to rush if the associated update is still two hours away...

Depends on file size and time zone. It's almost evening here and my internet isn't the fastest. I'm positive I'll be too tired once the whole thing is up and ready.

I'm kind of glad I'll still be at work once the expansion is available. By the time I get home, any issues should be sorted out and I can download the content smoothly. It's happened before. Everyone and their mother is going to try to download this as soon as its available, so I'd rather not be frustrated by potentially overwhelmed servers.

You will need the game's update to access the expansion.

The Expansion file is essentially just the map, event routes and various UI elements that weren't in the game before.

The regular update contains all of the elements that make the expansion function, such as the new cars, ability to activate events and to travel to that location in the first place.

In short, you need both or you can't access the Expansion.

Good thing I knew you needed such an update in order to access it. ;) Right now I'm doing other things like working on my series until the update comes out.

Yep! Downloading the Patch on my PC now. Well, This may take a while on my slow af internet. Might as well dust off the XBOne an play FM6 while I wait.

Carrera GT and Macan Turbo are now in the game as of the latest patch

So is the 991 Turbo S and 997 GT2 RS. The Macan is a small surprise though, but still a car I'd expect at some point.
I saw the 991 & 997 too, but didn't mention them due to them being Forzathon cars for this month.

This is probably an odd request, but does anyone know all the cars in the game that have pop-up headlights?

Even if you don't buy the Hot Wheels pack they really shove it in your face with a video you cannot skip and a big Hot Wheels logo on the Byron Bay beach.

The Hot Wheels icon on the beach is pretty random compared to accessing Blizzard Mountain from the airport. Too bad the new location isn't visible from the mainland during gameplay like it is in the opening sequence. It could've been a nice touch like that snowy peak beyond the horizon.
