Of course the one car I wanted to put the redline tires on (the Sesto Elemento), doesn't have them available. :grumpy:

That's weird. Do these tires improve grip on the tracks, or are they just for show? I previewed the tires on the new barn find, but the visual difference didn't really stand out to me.

Just for show. They're racing tires with red lips on them. That's it.

Got both Goliath and Lap time achievement in one go. Took me a few tries to get it. Tried doing this with Simulation damage on... couldn't do it. Too much jumps and things that will mess up the performance of the car. Got a lap time about 6:18 or so. Next step is to 100% the DLC by the end of the week.

The prices are probably going to drop like a stone after a month or so, since it's a permanent barn find rather than a Forzathon barn find. You can probably look at the International Scout to see what the prices are gonna be like after a while.

I think I'm running into a problem that also occurred in the base game. That is rubber banding AI. The places I notice the rubber banding the most, are tracks that have a sharp spiral section in them. When I go into these spiral corners, my car is traveling around 120 mph and I have to ease on the throttle to maintain my driving line. However, I seen several AI cars passed by me and accelerate even faster on a hairpin turn. Also, any sharp corners where you are required to slow down to make the turn, they instantly close the gap between you and them. I like the Hot Wheels dlc, but the rubber banding AI is testing my patience on certain racetracks.

My issue with the AI isn't rubberbanding, but it's with one Driveatar somehow pulling far ahead of everyone else and being difficult to catch up to. It's very annoying.

What's irritating me is I can't come up with any video ideas for the expansion, and I really want to make videos about it. Any suggestions?

Use the Wire song "Too Late" with the lyric "Is it too late to change my mind" while showing the cars taking the loops and jumps or hitting the boosters.

Look at real life Hot Wheels videos and try to emulate a few things.

See if it's possible to do a Loop in Reverse gear.

Just tried out the DFGT on the PC edition. Can't say I'm impressed, as the profile has the horn paired to the accelerator. Does anyone know how I could make the horn something else, hopefully one of the many buttons not used by the game?

So, I'm considering possibly starting a small, semi-serious offroading club in FH3 since I've been finding off roading a lot of fun in the game, even with how rudimentary it is, and considering how relaxing it is.

Would anybody be interested in joining me?

This sounds interesting. How would it work?

Basically, it'd go like this (And @JASON_ROCKS1998 can attest to this)

- Stock or lightly modified Offroad class vehicles only (Though I can make exceptions to vehicles like the Nomad, the Arctic Trucks Hilux, and maybe the Abatti Racing F100) with modified vehicles not being too wild. (No AWD V12 swaps!)

- Keep to a 30-35 MPH speed limit.

- Single file in the back roads, maybe two a breast if the road allows it, to keep things for devolving to a ****fest.

- In terms of map, we'd basically go everywhere on the map. We'd start from a pre-determined point (Usually the gas station in Coober Pedy or the parking lot near the boardwalk in Byron) and go to an end point as to not make the route drag on too long. Along the way, we might take shortcuts through the northern bush, the rainforest, etc, to take pictures or maybe stop for a simulated break.

- Most of all, the idea is simply to relax, shoot the ****, and have some fun.

We basically did this a few nights ago (not planned, just something to pass the time) where we went from the Outback festival, through the Gorge, up river and through the rainforest until we got to the shipwrecks, all while driving (mostly) Classic off-roaders. Went well for the most part until ransoms started joining and we ended up seeing Dodge Chargers and Warthogs and stuff. Could work really well if we kept it organised and ensured no randons could join.
