I never knew what the Chrysler Charger in FH3 was supposed to sound like, but the correction freaks me out to be perfectly honest. It's obviously nice they fixed it but there's something bizarre about its classic muscle proportions in combination with the sound it emits.

In all likelihood, you just described how the error happened in the first place.

Game, could you please stop teasing me with things I can't get yet, while I'm trying to get other things? Thank you.

It seems they haven't fixed the 944 tail lights. The car in the game is an European model but they mapped the lights to resemble the American configuration. It was fine in FH2 but then wrong in FM6, and also wrong in FH3 apparently.

Well, hopefully these early sightings of the car help with the (re)fixing of this issue, then. Such are the woes of a British studio (Playground) working alongside an American one (Turn 10/Microsoft)...

There's hope after they fixed the Supra lights and various car sounds.

So yet another problem that PG isn't going to fix? Great. And the Hilux was one of my favorite trucks, too.
Another problem that likely isn't affecting the whole player base. Not an excuse to not fix it, but still, you should check first if you even have the same issue.

Yes, the precedents are somewhat positive in that regard. And besides, if it was right once before, there's no reason for it to not be again...

How does it affect some players and not all? Asking out of curiosity, that's all.

No idea at all.

That's... certainly strange. Never heard of a graphical glitch that has a sense of exclusivity. It's a case that should be studied, certainly...

Let's just hope it gets fixed completely, regardless of player. I don't find issues like this troublesome, but I bet those who are detail-obsessed will rage endlessly unless it's fixed...

There's a lot of games that have glitches that don't effect every pesrson in the playerbase, this isn't a new happening. I've noticed a small glitch since FM5 with the steering that many, many people say that it's not happening to them.

With Nitro Glitter patrolling the forums, hopefully this is something she's aware of and is on the case.

Game-breaking glitches or ones that make paid DLC unavailable (like the Hot Wheels/Blizzard Mountain) immediately go to the top of the queue when it comes to bugfixing.

Everything else is just a bonus and would only get attended to once the higher priority issues are fixed.

Well I wouldn't know about the FM5 glitch as I only joined the Forza franchise with this instalment, but fair enough. It's a new happening to me, because the glitches I tend to see and/or experience are usually had by other players... Bar maybe one glitch in Switchcars, but that's a story for another thread.

But obviously this has to be a team effort, not just Nitro's responsability. However, her help might speed up the process a bit, which is always useful. Early glitch detection means small issues like this are noticed quickly, and take less time to join the "problem fixing" queue...

But, at least to my knowledge, there are currently no major issues with the paid DLC packages, correct? Game-breaking glitches I have no clue about, but at least with DLC there aren't any major issues currently...

Still though, the point stands that this has been going on in gaming in general, for as long as I can remember. Not everyone gets affected by certain glitches/bugs. There are universal ones like the paint issues with certain cars, but then theres one like I mentioned, in which the steering doesn't fully turn all the time.

Watch out for patch notes for certain games, you'll notice sometimes where it says "fixed xxxx as some players where not able to do xxxx." Even more, look at all the bug fixes, and a lot of the time you'll see stuff that has never happened to you.

I've been checking in on the Forza website and sure enough I'm not alone on the whole Hilux crashing situation.

https://forums.forzamotorsport.net/...-to-launch-game--Hilux-issue.aspx#post_730326

The main cause from what is said here is regarding the drivetrain conversion.

You now have a RWD conversion alongside the AWD conversion which I'm guessing gives you the faster shifting gearbox like the normal AWD conversion. (Because the Hilux is AWD stock hence the guessing.)

(This next bit is just me speculating but let me know if I'm on the right track. :D)

But the old AWD conversion data which if your Hilux had before the update would now cause the game to crash if you interact with the Hilux, example get in it, sell it, check its history etc.

It's not catastrophic if you didn't drive the converted Hilux last before the update as you just don't touch it until it's fixed (which they give a rough timescale as to when in the link.)

But if it was last vehicle you drove before the update, then you really are up 🤬 creek without a paddle as it'll crash the second it loads up the car in the outpost and effectively lock you out of the game till its fixed.

As mentioned on the website elsewhere, in fixing some bugs, you inadvertently may create another one and that's also why the bug with Nissan Titans Wheels won't get patched either IIRC.

For some reason I keep getting a message telling me that Horizon 3 is taking too long to load and to try again. I tried loading up Forza 6 but it was the same thing. I tried going offline but nothing. Any of you guys had this problem?

Ok if any of you guys are experiencing this problem, to resolve it turn the console off, unplug the power box for 30 seconds to a minute and reboot. Pain in the arse >:)

So, I just noticed this after playing DRIVECLUB for the first time in a while today...

But I don't think the C5 to C7 Corvettes in FH3 have the standard HUD in game.

Example:

I have never seen this in FH3.

Yes, Forza never shows HUD readouts for cars that do have them such as the gorgeous Z06. Probably don't want to loose locked 60 fps.
