Been playing quite a bit of Blizzard Mountain and have been making loads of rally car replicas, but I encountered a small glitch after doing my Audi Quattro A2 Gr.B, where every single car I saw would have my exact same livery, regardless of what car it was.

Looks like this glitch is back again, but with a slight twist.

So instead of using my livery (which it can't do since I'm in a red F12) it has decided to have the livery of a Porsche 918 on half the cars in this race.

I also managed this unbelievable barrel roll right before the race

Is there a list of current HE's you can get from wheel spins? I need the GT-R, BRZ and John Cooper GP.

The only one I haven't seen yet is the 2012 Mini.

I wonder if we're going to get a 'Murica themed car pack next week, or anything at all for that matter.

If the latest leaks are anything to go by, definitely no, and...

I think they'll skip the usual release day and we'll get another car pack on July 11th.

...I like your thinking, but let's not hastily forget that Playground Games is not American, and that clearly whoever manages the Microsoft Store and Xbox updates doesn't get the day off either. I guess we'll see come Friday, if the usual clue thread will pop up, we'll have a DLC on Independence Day.

They will make more money releasing it earlier rather than later, so my bet is on it being released on the 4th, or delayed only a day at most.

It's good to see people still getting excited about upcoming car packs, despite the fact that they refuse to address certain car sound issues present in the game since release. So bravo, they must be doing something right!

I bought the game only a few weeks ago so the wait hasn't been that long for me but I'd really like to finally hear some updated audio samples for the S15, M4, R34 and Supra, some of which, by the way, are already available in their audio database. The R32/33/LM sound fine and so do the Mk3 Supra and the M4 GTS.

Many people care more that a car is included in the first place, or how it drives rather than how it sounds.

Like it matters anyway, every car sounds like a Lamborghini V12 by the time we're done with it

I've seen "latest leaks" mentioned a couple times recently. Is there something I missed? Last I heard of was the leaked developers build.
This is the last one:
https://www.gtplanet.net/additional-forza-horizon-3-cars-found-latest-developer-build/
..and this is what's left of the previous leaks:
  • 2001 Audi RS4 Avant
  • 2003 Audi RS6
  • 2009 Audi RS6
  • 1971 Jensen Interceptor
  • 1990 Mazda MX-5 Miata
  • 2010 Mazda MX-5 Super 20
  • 2005 Mercedes-Benz SLR
  • 2014 Nissan Juke NISMO RS
  • 1971 Plymouth GTX426 Hemi
  • 1970 Porsche #3 917 LH
  • 1993 Toyota #1 T100 Baja Truck

I think car packs are unnecessary at this point. Save the new ones as FM7 debuts, but that 928 GTS...

I think the game still sells very-very well, in fact it's still on top charts: https://www.chart-track.co.uk/index.jsp?c=p/software/uk/latest/index_test.jsp&ct=110015
a thing that certainly dictates continued dlc support from a business perspective.

really amazing sales!

Maybe, but I think they have been stretching car packs for recent Forza games too far into the year. At this point it begins to feel like early access taking novelty appeal out of FM7. Two different games of course, so FH3 fans will probably disagree. In my opinion, FH3 released with too few cars we hadn't already seen in FM6. FM7 will probably be the same if FH3 DLC continues into August and perhaps beyond.

once more, it is commercial sales that dictate the support after a year. if you where buying horizon 3 just now, like thousands do, you'd like to see new stuff popping up, no?

After a year? FH3 released in late September 2016. That said, I don't really care why Forza uses this DLC strategy. I'm offering my opinion as a customer and I would say the same had I purchased FH3 yesterday. The imminent arrival of FM7 is my concern here, but I understand that other people may see things differently.

I dont understand. so let me get his straight:
Say its your game that still sells gangbusters a year after release.
you are in top charts every week.
You are going to pull the plug on supporting it while sales are still very hot? and while your next game is a whole year away?
Seriously?

Well, they won't. JONK1969 said in a thread titled "Valiant Sound" that they will not fix it, even though he did admit to the issues. So, that's a flat out "no". What's wrong with the M4 GTS sample BTW?

Oh? People no longer care about how their cars sound in Forza or if they use authentic sounds? Well, okay then..

The next Forza game is three months away. Why do you ask me those questions? You act like I said something utterly crazy that can't go unnoticed.

dude, while I understand that its your hobby to mix forza motorsport and forza horizon together as one product, you do understand that this holds true only in your brain?
forza horizon 3 was released September 2016, and for all I know forza horizon 4, at the very soonest will be in 14-15 months from here.
game still sells like crazy (rightfully so), it would take a FOOL to cut support.
shiiiiiish

"One product" is taking it a bit far since I'm only talking about how cars are shared between the different Forza games. Read my previous posts in this conversation and you'll find answers to some of the questions you keep asking.

I've just read his post and, to me, It still doesn't make any sense. Are they trying to betatest a new audio model by copying/pasting WIP sounds that have nothing to do with their real-life counterparts? Way to go, PG.
By the way, there's nothing wrong with the M4 GTS; I said It's fine, just like the R32, R33, R33 LM and the Mk3 Supra.

I see far more complaints on forums/social about "why is __________ not in the game?" than "why does __________ not sound right?".

Sounds are important of course but I don't think it's something the majority of players are concerned about.

As for the V12 joke, engine swaps are popular, and almost essential to make a car highly competitive in Rivals/Multiplayer (though not as essential as AWD). By the time you swap out the stock engine for the Turbo Rally or a V12, the sound quality of that stock engine doesn't matter anymore as you're not going to hear it.
