I thought I read or heard somewhere that T10 already said they couldn't model it with the current physics engine (i.e. it's limited to vehicles with four tires). Wouldn't mind being wrong about that, though...

Oh that's a shame then, hopefully they'll be able to simulate this kind of things for Forza 7.

I knew at this moment I'd be starving for new DLC, considering June is a big month (which means summer break and my birthday, as well as E3 and the next DLC pack by the first Tuesday). Probably the June DLC will be my early birthday gift from Turn 10, regardless of which cars are in the pack.

We need more tracks now, imo

I don't disagree.

Though I would like more tracks outside of the states.

There are a lot of great UK tracks that would be awesome in Forza like Donington Park, Oulton Park and Knockhill.

Plus some Japanese tracks would be nice (Though I believe there is some licensing issue with that one)

I have some bit conspiracy that Japan tracks risen up their licensing cost to protect their "homeland's own racing series".

Dont kill me.

Wow, that game's creator must have even more power than we previously imagined. Maybe the US has set a similarly prohibitive price on using its own automobiles in Japanese games which is why his game had to fill up the roster with Skylines to make up the numbers lol.

This theory always amused me. Since when did free market enterprises worry about anything but their own pockets? I'm not denying that Polyphony Digital may have agreed to some favorable deals, but I'm sure the respective owners of Suzuka, Fuji, Tsukuba, etc. would love to do business with Turn 10. I doubt any of the Japanese tracks are exclusive to Gran Turismo.

I agree and can't help thinking the only barriers to Japanese tracks in Turn10's games are purely logistical. Perhaps we've seen our last new European track in the game as well.

Yes, more or less. However, I'm sure we'll see more non-American tracks in future Forza games.

I've heard rumblings that MSV – the company that runs Brands Hatch, as well as Snetterton, Cadwell, Oulton, and Bedford – is really eager to push their tracks in modern games, which is why Brands suddenly started appearing everywhere. If true, I really hope it means the others are added in FM7, preferably starting with Cadwell.

I'd love more British tracks. I'm still clamoring for Knockhill to appear in a modern sim game. Aside from Britain, I really, really want the Toronto street track too after playing it on an rFactor demo at the Indycar races there in 2013.

It makes sense to add tracks that are "nearby", purely for cost issues (it's probably cheaper to send a team to Florida or Virginia than it is to send them in England or Japan) but I get the feeling if they carry over everything from FM6 to FM7 and add a few more here and there, it could possibly have the greatest track lineup ever seen.

I'm probably jaded due to it being a 10 minute walk from my place (I'll be doing something with work right beside T1 on Saturday, actually), but I've never been too impressed by the Toronto track. It would be a nice change of pace from Long Beach though, so another street circuit wouldn't be too bad. Mosport or Mont Tremblant would be my personal selections from Canada, but I wouldn't be surprised if Montreal shows up, since T10 have nabbed a fair amount of F1 tracks.

Agreed. Other than Suzuka, I really don't miss many of the real Japanese circuits, so a few choice additions could put FM7 up there with the best in terms of track list on consoles (Shift 2 and PCARS, IMO).

Xbox Ones are running cheaper and cheaper by the day, and to think of it, it does not feel like around three years since they came out.

With E3 coming along and with rumors of new Xbox consoles coming out, should I take the long awaited dip into the Xbox One pool along with Forza 6? I know that there will be Horizon 3 coming out as well, so I'm conflicted on which to consider.

I watched an onboard video of Pacific Raceways the other day. It looks fun and the nature around Seattle is incredible. Let's hope it's included.

I'd be amazed if it isn't included sooner or later. It's basically T10's home track.

All this track talk has got me thinking - if T10 continue on their current output of tracks - we are due for one more track in FM6 and then 9 new tracks for FM7. Any thoughts on what you guys think they'll be? Here's my attempt at a realistic prediction:

  1. Pacific Raceways
  2. Mugello
  3. Mid Ohio
  4. Donington
  5. Zandvoort
  6. Oulton Park
  7. New Hero Track (like Rio,Prague - maybe a reimagined New York??)
  8. Fujimi
  9. Paul Ricard
  10. Phillip Island
Also my dream list as follows:

  1. Maple Valley
  2. Camino Viejo (w Iberion and Ladera)
  3. Fujimi
  4. New York
  5. ebisu
  6. Suzuka
  7. Tsukuba
  8. Mosport
  9. Syndey Motorsports park
  10. Sepang

No love for Interlagos? If FM7 brings in dynamic weather, hell even this static rain would do, it'd be perfect. Interlagos, Suzuka and Circuit Gilles Villeneuve would be my favourite picks for a track pack, if they include them then I'm done I wouldn't ask for more. Sad thing is that I have those three tracks in my F1 2015 game but overall graphics performance is so poor I never feel like driving them there.

Good call on interlagos and circuit Gilles villenueve, forgot about those!

I don't know how close to true it is, but I've heard in the past that a few games have missed out on Suzuka due to Honda's ownership & that they're no longer as open as they once were to developers wanting to model the track. I think PCars was among the first to run into issues trying to get it in the game.

As long as we don't get the Panther 6 or Covini C6W, I'm fair game for six-wheeled cars.

I've only heard it's expensive to get a license for.
