July Car Pack Update

Fans wondering if we will new cars in July for Forza Motorsport 6, the answer is a resounding YES. The next DLC car pack for Forza 6 will arrive on Tuesday, July 12. I’d love to spill the beans on each of the cars in the pack, but I enjoy my job, so I won’t do that. Instead I’ll say this: Prepare to drive something you’ve never driven before in a Forza game. Ooohhh, the mystery! July 12. Get hyped.

Knowing Turn 10, this has me rather worried because I'm quite sure that has been true for all the monthly car packs for FM6.

What was that 3 wheeler they had a bunch of posts about? A Morgan? Or was it that American one? Drawing a blank...

+edit
Polaris Slingshot!

There's been rumors about that thing since around FM5 I think?

This here could be the one. I thought I read before that turn 10 or Microsoft had one, or one visited them, something like that. This has been a few months ago.

Having time to sit down with this game for a while, I noticed something...

What the hell happened to the cars from other Forza games? They cut so many cars from the roster. It makes me question if they took online data to gauge whether or not people used them or not.

I was looking forward to thrashing around in the M5..

Anyways, I find this game enjoyable, but it's so hard for me to get used to the simulation steering.

So far I have been enjoying the game
Most fun I have had so far was on Bathurst with the '93 Cobra R. The car was pretty good all tuned up, but the sound is what made the moment.

"Car Pack". Not "Expansion". So I guess this rules out Pacific Raceways and Pro Stock cars...

...and hopefully this refers to more than one car in there, if this is referring to the Polaris. I still want my Warthog, dammit

Yep, and they are pretty sucky. It doesn't tell you the lap number nor the time you did but I think that is as bad as it gets thankfully. The rest of the game is pretty solid. Welcome to Forza by the way!

I love replays on car games, what a shame about the 30 fps thing, almost ruins it for me, 60fps are silky smooth...Love the game, I still play forza 4 lots, so i thought id "upgrade"...replays are almost a downgrade, thats my only dissapointment..Thanks..what about forza 5, are they 60fps?

You will absolutely love the sound on most cars. They are well done indeed, particularly if you have a beefy 7.1 system to boot.

Hi guys i picked up an xbox one and forza 6 yesterday, i love it, a question, are the replays only 30 frames a second ?...

That is kind of sucky, isn't it? I miss the PS2-era GT replays so much. Cars look much more realistic and lively moving around at 60 fps in replays.

There is a way to make them look smoother and more real though: turn on the motion refresh enhancement on your TV (if you have it) to make it look buttery smooth.

Aw yes 60fps is a must on car games, and i dont think my sony bravia has that function, but will have a look thanks..

I'm currently watching the yearly IMSA endurance from Watkins Glen. I didn't know the track has been repaved and the curbs are now red and orange instead of red and white. It can't be that long since Turn 10 did their research for the track in FM6? It looks like they have to go back there as the banked lanes have been erased by a smooth surface all over the track. I think it has lost some character.

Started August 2015 and finished 2-3 months ago, Drivers love the repave.
