I couldn't agree more, there is no replacement for FM, Horizon puts a smile on my face and like Dan says "it's fun, it's always fun!" but I get more of a kick pretending to be a serious race car driver with FM.
In fact I have enjoyed FM6 so much that I'm contemplating getting an Xbox 360 so I can play all the Forzas I've missed. I hear a lot people go on and on about Forza 4 and how great it was but, what about the first one? I really want to see where everything started, play them all starting from the first one and see how Forza evolved.
Forza 1 was launched for the original Xbox but the 360 is backwards compatible, right? Also is installing games mandatory on 360? I saw a console for sale and was quite cheap, problem is it only has 4gb of internal memory. Would it be fine?
One major issue, is that all the DLC for the 360 games has been sunsetted, other than the first Horizon's. It's especially sad in FM4's case, because that was an amazing year of car packs (plus Porsche).
I bought FM1 about a year ago, and it works fine on my 360. Definitely a shock to the system, though!
