Rio and Yas Marina are still the worst ones I've seen online, to the point where I pretty much just quit the lobby when they pop up. Rio is easily the worst track in the game online or offline, I hope T10 forgets about it when FM7 comes...

Whatever issues you mean, if they haven't fixed them now don't expect anything to change.

yeah... cryin' shame.

Replace Rio with Maple Valley for FM7 imo.

Even though you gotta love the track roster in F6, one thing that left me disappointed is the exclusion of so many fantasy tracks. Who wouldn't want tracks like M.Vally, Positano, Kaido or Camino in a new-gen Forza game? Well, maybe 7 will bring that trend back.

Maple Valley was great, but all the other ones sucked, IMO. I'd rather see them scrap Rio, Alps and Prague and just go full-on real racetracks instead... Replace them with, say, Mid-Ohio, Mosport and Willow Springs or Buttonwillow.

They won't scrap those tracks....they put a lot of time and resources into those assets, why get rid of them when they are still perfectly usable for this generation?

Anyway, a little off topic but it'll be interesting to see Turn-10's approach to their heritage fantasy tracks going forward. We're coming up 3 years into the new generation and we've yet to see one single fantasy track return aside from the Alps. They've been laser focused on real-world tracks so far despite a significant portion of the community continuously requesting for the likes of Maple Valley/Kaido to return. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't show up in FM7's launch roster, but considering there is quite a high demand for these tracks, it begs the question; Will they forget about them completely and move on (what it seems like they've done far) or bring them back? Would you guys rather have them focus on bringing the classics back (kaido, New York, Maple, Tokyo, Camino) or continue to focus on real-world stuff?

Also, gamescom is right around the corner.....more news on what exactly FRC is hopefully!

They could touch them up a bit, I actually don't think Rio is all that bad for instance but what irks me is that it doesn't have it's track limits well defined. For example those chicanes at the last sector which you can happily cut and not dirty up your lap (and create a visual feast as you blow all those tyres up in the air) bothers me a lot, makes the game feel very "arcadey".

I'd like classics and real. Less tracks like Sebring though. Lack of noticeable elevation changes and the concrete surface 🤬 me to tears.

And yes I'm aware Sebring is a real track.

I'm looking forward to seeing and hopefully buying today's new cars.

Now a little rant... You all probably remember how the BMW Isetta promised an entirely new experience last month. Well, I've had a closer look at the strange front wheel positioning on the Ferrari 288 GTO in the game. The front wheels aren't aligned with the seemingly correctly positioned rear wheels. It's almost the opposite of the BMW Isetta albeit not quite as extreme. Whether the Ferrari only suffers from a visual oversight or actually handles like it's stanced is something I can't tell. All I know is that it looks wrong and still hasn't been fixed after months of updates, which is odd considering how it's only just very recently Turn 10 added '288' to the car's name in FM6.

Turn 10's approach to post-release support is kinda careless when compared to developers such as Kunos Simulazioni, who always monitor their content and correct the smallest of things. Here's hoping the promise of future FM6 updates will catch such issues but I'm not getting my expectations up.

I just ran a few ABC hoppers tonight just for fun, had an eventful race at Sebring where I saw one guy bring out The Truck, and thought he was going to ram or block everyone, but surprisingly he probably was the cleanest guy out there... Same can't be said of that idiot in a Camaro who played bowling with everyone at turn 3...
I'm surprised that they still let you use the Mercedes Truck in ABC'S. I was quite shocked when I saw it in my car list upon selecting a car for B class. Needless to say, I gave it a go...and beat a Toyota GT86, NSX-R, and Subaru Impreza WRX. Finished 2nd out of 5 on Indy Road Course, losing only to a 1965 Ford Mustang GT. Three people have to live with the fact that they lost a circuit race to a freakin' semi truck...

Also it's quite funny to watch other classes catch up to me in my rear view mirror and either pass with caution, wait patiently behind me, or scatter around me in a panic to overtake something 3 times as big as them.

That Datsun and the R91CP are enough for me to want the pack. I also kinda want to drive the 323TI sport. That makes 14 new cars waiting for me when I finally get back access to my Xbox One and WiFi.

EDIT:
Um, what the freak!?!

^Sadly it's been confirmed as yet another unicorn by ManteoMax over on Forza.net. I bet this'll join the Escort, California, Ford Falcon Phase III, and Silvia in the dark empty void of unobtainable cars. :(

On another note, I gotta say, after driving all of the cars from the new pack, I'm honestly attached to the new Ferrari F-158 the most. When I saw that we were getting yet another vintage F1 car, I was nervous that it would be next-to-impossible to drive much like the Brabham and Eagle-Weslake. MAN, I was wrong. This thing is seriously grippy, probably due to having half of the power that the other 2 cars I mentioned have. However, upgrading it can be risky. It kinda loses that grippy feel once you push it past 250HP. I may try running it in the ABC'S hopper to see if it can be competitive in it's stock form.

It probably will, which reminds me.

Turn 10, I didn't forget; explain why the heck you have these cars inserted in a game and not having them playable? I swear that I haven't heard any new contests or anything that unlocks them, so what the heck is the hold up?!

The game is coming towards its 1st birthday. They said there would be other ways to get the Aston Martin and Ferrari whatever.

I think it at this point Turn10 are just trolling. They know that it upsets some people and it generates buzz.

I'm putting it out there that this game will turn around to Xmas and well into the new year and they will announce Forza 7 and nothing will change.

To me no car is that special that it bothers me. At this point 1yr later I'm thinking Forza 6 is in extended limited support.

I just checked and you can't even race against the Manta 400. Wow. Now they're really taking the piss.
Yeah, found that out earlier as well. That's unfortunate, I wanted to take a bunch of photo's of it! I would hope we hear from T10 about it. However based on the '66 Silvia, '08 California, RS Escort non F&F edition and a few others, I don't think we will.

Edit: Didn't see your earlier post saying practically the same thing, lol.

Yes, they said that months ago and I'm still waiting to find out what those methods are and as you said; it's nearly been a year since release.

In which, that's normally when Turn 10 stops updating content to a Forza title. With their previous track record, I doubt they're adding any new content after september. I don't care if the cars don't get added to the current title if they're going to be in FH3 and FM7, but I do care when they keep me in the dark on something like this.

It's certainly frustrating.

For what it's worth, the other Unicorns were up for grabs during Photomode and Livery contests on the official forums. But that still seems a really poor way to "unite" the community: as frustrating as the Rolls Bounty Hunter race was, at least it was possible to hear about it in game. I imagine the number of FM6 owners that check the official forums regularly are a tiny fraction of the playerbase.

Considering the FRC is going to be run on FM6, I certainly hope there will be more support than is usual when the next title is out.

Hopefully these are included with the FRC update. Might be cars added specifically for certain races in it.

They sucked... really? They were downright beautiful and loads of fun to drive in FM3. I was just taking a drive yesterday in 3, and almost forgot how stunning the tracks looked on a 10-year old console... ! :D

FM4 is where they started to look a bit sucky due to the washed out lighting and noticeably cut down detail levels.

Fantasy tracks should be easy to bring back - don't know why they are so obsessed with licensed US tracks. Maybe they get perks and such, who knows.

They are not going to scrap fantasy tracks for licensed tracks because there's no license fee associated with fantasy tracks.

I'll say it again, just keep the roster as it is and add all the past fantasy tracks.

Wish they would just make those fantasy tracks available as free DLC.
