That is because Sony has confirmed GT5 for 2010 so IGN has put the last day of the year as it cannot be later than that.

It was rendered using a similar number of triangles etc. to what GT5 will have, but it is far from real time!

I know nothing about the background of Amar, but he seemed to have a good reputation around here. I also know nothing about the background of this new person, except that he just turned up pretending to know that everything will be revealed at E3, and that we will all be surprised about the release date.

Whatever, I can say the same thing myself and I'd either be right or wrong. So, that's hardly proof if anything he says is correct. Yes, I'm a sceptic until some more concrete proof is provided other than random poetry.

Gonna be like what? "More human-like"? That's a very broad thing for him to say, and gives no measure for it. Even if it is just slightly better than before, the statement will be true, but slightly better will not cut it these days.

More human like AI could be AI car hitting brakes on a straight as they see you are trying to use slipstream like some people did in prologue.(yes maybe AI can a-hole also )
