Hope you dont mind me doing this... Certainly not trying to steal your limelight however I've tinkered with your tune on this one a bit (given your obvious dislike of the Veyron, I figured you may not be too concerned)
I found with your tune I was getting about low to mid 270mph figures... gearing was way too long and was barely shifting into 7th before the finish line... so dropped the gears down and managed to yield a best result of 282mph.
Also by reducing the steering response, it made it a lot easier to maintain straight heading when fighting against torque-steer
Again, hope you dont object to me doing this, figured it may help others

Love everything in this thread. The Cathertam tune makes the car stick to the track like glue. Was wondering if you might post an Audi TT tune, as it's one of my favorite cars, ever. Even if you don't get to it, this thread is still a gold mine. Thanks for all the hard work!

I'm still on my prolonged vacation but I may squeeze out 2 or 3 tunes before the week is through.

Just got my Norschleife Endurance series badge on Shift2 today....thank goodness, and 83% career completion. (Just the Drifts to do, which I'm hopeless at).

Used the Works Apollo for the first race (using tune from here), but getting overtaken on the straight by the A1, so then used the Veyron with my own tune to finish off.
I only managed a 6.30 best on the 5 lap night race, but at least won, which isn't always easy on Nurbugring with those aggressive AI.

I came here in search of good class C and B cars. I'm tired of loosing with worse drivers having better tunned cars online.
My first post, about parts for Cobra 427 C-class special, was ignored. Never mind that though. Instead I tried Audi R8 C-class from Your spreed sheet and it was pretty slow compared to my Audi C-class with random tuning. I did 1.21.xxx (flying start) at London River not even trying that much. I can share replay and settings, if anyone wants, but as I said earlier, I saw plenty faster cars online (maybe they're cheating, I don't know). I tried some other car from spread sheet too, but it had ridiculous gearbox settings.
I have Shift 2 PC version, not modified in any way. I only installed official patches and DLC. So here comes my question. Are these tunes only for consoles and do not work on PC?

No! Tunes from this thread are Universal. That means if T-12 tune he's car on X360 i can use them on my PS3/PC

Anyway, what I know is that Cobra 427 is supposed to be faster than R8 in C-class (though not 1:26 on London River as it is in spreadsheet, but 1:20:something I guess). I just don't know what parts to install. I tried some combinations, but I failed to make faster vehicle than my R8. In C-class I raced some super fast Audi TT's today as well, but i can't tell for sure, they weren't cheaters.

One, no it wasn't. I told you I didn't remember and to experiment. If you failed to read that that's your problem, not mine.
Two, you weren't faster because of your "random tunning". You were faster because of the parts installed; I don't experiment with every possible range of applied upgrades. I do however create baseline tunes that are unlikely to alter regardless of the upgrades applied respective to the class of the original tune. I've said this before.

What car had ridiculous gearbox settings? I'll bet my bottom dollar that's the fault of the game and not mine. As there are plenty of cars in S2 that have abnormal powerbands regardless of how narrowly-adjusted the ratios are.
Yes, I specifically made tunes for the consoles, despite the game being the same across all platforms. Something else I've said several times beforehand -- the tunes are irrespective of the platform it's being played on.
Seems like a lot of this is actually your problem for having not read.

It was Matech Ford GT3, if I remeber corectly. 6th gear was useless. But as you said it might be game's fault.

My post wasn't an attack on you. You do a great work with these tunes. Yesterday I beat local record on London River with your LP640 settings.
I'm just getting frustrated with online play. Opponents are driving with strange lines, hitting walls and still they manage to stay before me with unbelievable acceleration.
