I totally agree with your comments Swift. I can't expected much from you guys. From your understanding, do you think that i record my drift with my Nokia N80 will be good? I tried and the video is dark and blur.Clanegie, I understand how much effort you're putting into this and it's pretty apparent that you're improving. However, we can't tell you a thing from a still picture. sorry, that's just how it is.
I believe you said you couldn't record video from your PS2. Maybe you can send your save file to someone that could or use a video camera on your TV(borrow one if you have to ). This would give us something substantial to help you with your technique.

You said that i can send other people a saved file. Is that possible to transfer data from the memory card to PC?? I never thought that will work.
No Problem Texan.. I will try search for it in the forum. I have a USB drive, Sandisk Cruzer Micro 1 GB, it can save pictures, but don't think can save video files. it would be good if i can save them on the drive!!! the video would be of much much higher quality! Will try my best to all brothers here.yes, i forget the name of it, but its like a USB stick that works with the ps2, and you can save game file onto it.
try it with your phone and show us.
Thanks Pagan! I'm still a rookie at drifting. Need so much time.. But i'm not gonna rush myslf too much. I set my target to be able to drift well when GT5 is out! Haha... Now being able to drift, i can post pictures od drift here. It feels good! I feel being part of the Drift Family here now!Hey clenegie. Looking at your pics it looks like you're definately getting the hang of it. Keep it up, you'll get there eventually.
Why not record a session or so with your phone?
Possibly that he doesn't have one or that it is too expensive. There is alot of reasons why he doesn't get one.
He said he did

Thanks Texan! You had been real helpful here.. I will try to seach for he max drive thread too.I read on here that it could, Ill find that thread tomarrow for ya. Thats how I found it in the 1st place. Though I dont remember if it was in a FAQ, or a statement some one made. You can just goto... what ever the equivalent to an everyday electronics store is in singapore and pick up a cheep logitech web camera, their great.
Ill record a few drift laps tomarrow, since you and I have been at this for about the same time, Kinda helps to compare and such. But I love this MR2 Supercharger.
I read on here that it could,
You are right BL. I have done some research here and found out that what you had stated are true. I guess there are only two available options to capture replays in PS2, either by a video camera filming at your tv screen or using a video card to connect from your PC to PS2. I will try to seek out all means to get some videos posted so you guys can help and advise on my drifts. You read wrong.
A maxdrive can transfer the GT4 replay save file to PC, but there is no way of viewing it on the computer in that format. Essentially, all the file is, is a chronological list of your control inputs for the car and track you were at. No video is actually saved - that's why the files occupy so little room on the PS2 memory card.
The only way an AR MAX will help you is if you know someone else that has one that is willing to capture your video for you. You will have to provide them your replay file, they will have to load it to their memory card and play it in GT4.
Usualy I brake to the appropriate speed that I woulld normaly take it, sometimes faster for long corners, and then feint, no brakes for me. try not getting too much angle. Use less counter steer if possible so the car will begin to push it to the center of the corner.
